Wolves
In- Jamison, McGee, Stevenson
Out- Miller, Smith, Gomes, Miami 1st
Foye/Ollie/Telfair
Stevenson/McCants -- Brewer
Jamison/Carney
Love/Cardinal -- Madsen
Jefferson/McGee/Collins -- Booth
Jamison- He is old and has a big contract but he would be a great leader for this team. Example: http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/50151/20080107/wizards_separating_blatche_young_and_mcguire_in_locker_room/ Him, Love, and Al would be one of the best rebounding frontlines in the league. I think he is still quick enough to start at sf. He would split his time at sf/pf.
McGee- He is young, rebounds, and blocks shots. Pretty much the back up center the Wolves need behind Jefferson.
Stevenson- He seems kind of annoying but maybe his fire will help the Wolves. He was also mentioned in that article above so he might be a good mentor for the young guys. More importantly he will bring defense and toughness.
Wizards
In- Miller, Smith, Gomes, Miami 1st
Out - Jamison, McGee, Stevenson
James/Dixon/Crittenton -- Arenas
Miller/Young
Butler/Gomes -- McGuire
Blatche/Smith/Songalia
Haywood/Thomas -- Pecherov
This would help the Wizards save money. They will need quite a bit to resign Butler.
Miller will give them more 3pt shooting. Smith would add a different look to their frontcourt. Once they get Arenas back they would be one of the deepest teams in the east.

Re: Wolves/Wizards
Since I killed the other thread I posted this in, I'm going to do it again:
Can we just have one big trade thread? The first page is getting so cluttered with these and there's several new ones every day.
Having said that, I think the Wizards are pretty high on McGee.

I agree there should be a trade thread. But come on.. You really think the first page is cluttered? There is a thread on the first page that hasn't been posted in since Friday.

Re: Wolves/Wizards
Only player I would like from the wizards right now is McGee
Jamison has a really bad contract - until 2012 and he is already 32 so I would pass on that trade...

Re: Wolves/Wizards
until I read the last post I thought it would be a heck of a steal but yeah I forgot that Jamison just signed a big contract. so I wouldn't do that trade. but getting McGee would be sweet.

I like Nick Young, him and Tough Juice are probably the only two guys on the Wiz i would like to go after.

Yeah. Way too many, I think.

Your response might be funny if it was a plausible answer to my question.

Re: Wolves/Wizards
we will not have a trade thread. they get chaotic with everyone posting and discussing.
if u do not like a thread then move on...get over it.

It was only a suggestion. I saw it on the Bulls board and it seemed like a good idea. I just thought it was annoying to come here and see trade thread after trade thread after trade thread. I understand them, though. The team is trying to improve and fans are trying to find a way to make that happen.
I suppose I will indeed get over it and move it.

Re: Wolves/Wizards
The issue is that there is not much else to talk about other than the hope for change. Of course, like other people who promote an empty hope for change, nothing will come from it and we are getting excited over nothing.
If you see a trade thread and do not want to read it, then move on. No biggy sir.

Re: Wolves/Wizards
I hate the idea of a trade thread. Trades would then basically all just get cluttered together, would cause like 8 conversations going at once and confusion within the thread. Plus there are threads that have been dead since Friday, did you prefer to not have to click "next page" to see threads that no one was interested in in the first place?
Now back to the original trade. Talent wise I love it for the Wolves, but cost wise, no. Jamison is way over-paid and is getting old. Don't see the Wizards wanting to give up on McGee either.

Re: Wolves/Wizards
The Wizard fans I've talked to believe that Jamison's style of play won't be affected by his age for several years, and poitn out that his numbers are better than ever. Me? I'm skeptical. I tend to think that the Wizards value him more than we do, and he'd be more expensive than he's worth to trade for.
