Just throwing it out there..MN/Indiana.

Post#1 » by SpencerBusch » Tue Dec 23, 2008 4:41 pm

Just throwing it out there because i love both these players that we would be getting in this trade! And i believe we could realistically make it work!

Twolves Trade: Rashad Mccants (exp)
Boston 1st

Plus Bostons 1st

for

Pacers Trade:
Roy Hibbert (3 years left)

Why for the Twolves?
Recieves a future starting center in hibbert. And only gives up a high first rounder from the celtics and rashad mccants who most likely in MY opinion wont resign anyway..At 7ft 2 Hibbert has a very nice future.

Why for the Pacers.
There in a rebuilding mode so i think a peice like Mccants could resign and he could be a good part of the teams rebuilding stage.......And with the extra pick then can get someone decent in the draft this year...

No reason the Pacers do this.

They didn't invest that pick in Hibbert for nothing.

I was hoping Granger for McCants when I read the title...wait, we should have just drafted Granger instead.

I'd love to get Hibbert, but I think Indy loves him and it would cost us a lot more.

did you see what I did there,
if you missed it, say it out loud and you'll see what I did - McFail rhymes with McHale

This would be BEAUTIFUL for the Wolves, but no chance in hell the Pacers do it. Crap expirings and the 30th pick in the draft aren't going to get a quality back-up point guard, a solid prospect, and a quality rotation center.

Spencer..we talked about this before. You need to understand value. You are not giving Indy proper value here.

I would like to take this chance..

SPLIT G GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% OFF DEF REB APG SPG BPG PPG
Last 5 Games 5 4 15.4 .517 .000 .778 1.0 2.4 3.4 0.2 0.2 1.2 7.4
Last 10 Games 10 4 15.2 .491 .000 .588 1.3 2.2 3.5 0.3 0.2 0.9 6.2

Roy is going to be good.

you should at least give them the Heat pick but I'm not sure if I would do it then.

btw: does that even work salary wise? isn't Rasho on a 8 mill-ish contract while Collins is at around 6?

BTW, I wouldn't mind doing a small deal to bring Rasho here. It would give us a chance to take a look, and see if we'd want to give him a contract in the future. Rasho's not great, but I heard his defense has improved.

I don't know if his defense was ever bad. he can get some rebounds, block some shots, and play decent man D. His problem was he was a little soft, and when you're playing against Shaq in his prime, especially in the play-offs a couple times, that's not a good thing to be.

Hibbert>>>Bos Pick
Nothing>>>McCants.

Rasho is an option though...

Roy is going to be good.

This is misleading rev. Murphy has been out with the flu as well as Granger and Daniels. His numbers are grossly inflated by one good game. His other four games you speak of were nothing to write home about.

I don't see Hibbert as anything more than a good back up in this league or fringe starter. He's too much of a rebounding liability.
