Telfair and McCants (Plus BOS 1st?) for Williams and Dooling
This trade GREATLY improves our defense, getting rid of possibly our two worst defenders and adding two above-average defenders.

I'd do it, and it probably wouldn't cost the BOS pick

Getting a defensive pg, and young defensive big, AND getting rid of Telfair.. This trade would make a nice Christmas present for Wolves fans.

Re: MIN/NJ
I dont think NJ would go for it personally. McCants and Williams are arguably even. I think Williams is better since the old adage is "Never trade big for small." Though SWAT hasnt played for a few weeks, and McCants can score and learn from VC. That to me makes it Telfair for Dooling. I love Doolings game. And I think the Nets do too as he can back up both VC and Harris.
I think the Bos pick helps, without it I dont think it happens

Thats what I was thinking too. My original deal was one that included Gomes for someone like Hassell or Swift to make up for the talent gap, but Gomes' BYC makes any deal difficult. I think the Boston pick helps.
