I can totally understand that you guys would be pissed about some fans laughing at ZBO going down but I think that 99.9 percent of people are just excited to see some grit from a new player. That play was pretty innocent but it didn't end well for ZBO unfortunately. Looking at the replay Jake had absolutely no intention of hurting Zach. He just tripped after Jake gave him a small push.

More impressive was Jake's wall defence where Thornton just bounced off him on a drive. Anyway, I apologize if any dinks from our board are taking pleasure in Zach getting hurt but I don't think that is what most people are thinking.

Re: Clippers(8-19) vs. Raptors(10-17)
Watching the recap I see why we lost. Camby didn't play and Zach left the game. If all of our big men are out then we have no chance. Hopefully we get some places back after Christmas.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

the game was over from the start...and zach did play at the start...he just didnt play defense, as usual...
also he picked up 2 fouls really quickly and also picked his third up right away in the second q (but played with 3 fouls)

I missed the entirety of the game last night, but by the looks of the thread it doesn't look like I missed much eh? Shame that Camby was out and...whats this about Z-Bo leaving the game early? At least the guys have a good 5-6 days to kick back and regroup. Mavs, Kings and SIxers comin' up...hopefully they get it together so maybe we can make a lil' streak outta that group.

2 of those early fouls should not have been called -- ticky tack fouls at best.
when he did play, the third quarter, he got the team to within 6...then your coach sent in the goon!

I'm not a Raptors or Clippers fan but the way I saw it was that Voskul didn't intend to hurt Randolph. Yes, he pushed Randolph but he was simply doing what alot of big men do which is trying to move the player who is boxing you out further under the rim to take away the rebounding angle. It was only the fact that Deandre Jordan was laying on the ground that caused Randolph to trip over him and get injured. I mean c'mon, how often does any player Voskuls size move Randolph like that? It was an unintentional thing for sure.
To be fair to the Clippers the lack of Camby and Kaman had them at Toronto's mercy before the game began. Bosh and O'neal are two big, strong, and aggressive players and since Randolph won't play defense it fell onto the shoulders of Jordan and Skinner, both of whom we know are extremely outmatched in that one.

My thoughts and prayers are with Camby and his family.
We had went on a run and came within 6. Voskuhl came in and pushed Zach who ended up with a knee bruise. It may not have been the most violent push, but it was totally unnecessary and a cheap shot. The two had tangled up on a previous play, so it was not necessarily unintentional. He later hip checked Thornton who got up limping. Nobody got into Voskuhl's face afterward. Even Brian Cook showed some emotion when his teammate received some unnecessary contact. I wouldn't want to see a fight or anything, but would have preferred to see the guys stand up for each other.

I'd give you a website that usually has streams for all games online, but I'm pretty sure I can't post links on here.
Could you e-mail it to me at cinnamon-yyz@hotmail.com ?
Much appreciated if you can.
Sorry, kind of late, but check your email.

Thanks. I almost never get to actually watch Clippers games, so this will be great to try. I really appreciate the tip.

Re: Clippers(8-19) vs. Raptors(10-17)
I just got to actually see last night's game in a replay on a channel I get.
A few things struck me strongly, things that wewren't so clear when I was reading the play-by-play on yahoo sports last night.
First, when we were without Camby and Kaman for the whole game, and without Randolph for part of the game, the Raptors bigs just ran all over us and obviously that gave them the idea that they were all All-Stars the way they were laughing and slapping each other on their bench at some of the stuff going on out there. Just how desperate are they?
Also, it was so obvious that Dunleavy has lost these guys long since. They were playing like a bunch of individuals who happened to be in the same place at the same time and decided to play basketball. The time Jason Hart couldn't find anyone to throw the ball in to, and ended up shrugging and calling a time out --- a perfect example. Yikes. How uninterested in your team can you get, that you can't even run up the floor and take the throw-in?
Any playbook Dunleavy had has also been long lost. It was often total chaos out there.
It made me wonder what satisfaction Sterling gets in owning this team. If he can't afford to, or can't bring himself to, pay to get the team well coached, why doesn't he just sell it to someone who will?
I'm supporting them; I'm wishing them well and following their fortunes. I just find it sad that the players and fans are denied this very basic element.
