Jefferson at least can do everything fairly well on offense as well as play good defense. Also he's an intelligent player.

Gadz/Lue/Jefferson/Bell for Mihm/Radman/Odom/Vujacic?

Fisher/Farmar/Lue
Bryant/Bell
Jefferson/Ariza/Walton
Gasol/Powell
Bynum/Gadzuric

At this point I'd say the most likely thing is a signing at the PG position like Marbury or Pargo, followed by a grouping of expirings to add a SF possibly including Farmar.

Not looking for anyone amazing but just a very good SF at a fair rate. They seem to be stuck on keeping Odom.

Would you trade Odom and Farmar for Deng and Hinrich?

if the bulls are willing to take on either rad or walton's contract and throw back an expiring to us (Gooden?) than yes. Doubt the Bulls do that deal though.

If we are talkign salary for salary no it won't happen both make big jack and if Deng isnt yet he is about to. But if we are talking player for player I'd do that yesterday, but again salraies make it impossible.

Deep I'd do that trade yesterday. Heinrich gives the great DWade trouble, honestly, he used to contain him. Deng is 6 8 multi skilled. I'm not a Farmar guy man, nice kid, but not crazy about him Heinrich is a superior guard to JFar IMO.

I think Hinrich is overrated, but he's better than what we have at PG this season. I expected Fisher and Farmar to play better than this, so I wouldn't oppose Hinrich now for defensive purposes even though I have in the past.

Deng I used to like a lot, but he's regressing it seems.

I don't like giving up on Odom, as I think he could do really well in the starting lineup at the 4. Problem is that we kinda have to start Gasol and Bynum.

The salary is a bit too much, and the trade doesn't work under the cap. Something like Hinrich + Deng + Simmons for Odom + Farmar + Walton works though and let's us unload Walton's contract with Odom's expiring.

You're kidding right. I'd trade Odom + Farmar for Heinrich straight up. And Deng? I'd do backflips.

I don't know to be quite honest. The incoming salary is just incredibly high.

If it's Deng+Gooden I'd heavily consider the deal. It would really help in the sense that Deng seems to be finally acquiring a three-point shot. He's a really good player. He'd thrive in the triangle if he can hit that three. Far smarter than Odom.

You know the one guy we haven't discussed very much of would be Luol Deng. He's struggled on that team but in a half-court set, specifically in the triangle with his new found three point-shot he just might be exactly what we've been looking for almost to a T.

Might not even need to trade Odom to get him although that's pushing it. You never know though, I'm sure Chicago would like to take their huge investment in him back. He's a really nice player to have though. Much better BBALL IQ than Wallace and solid defense, very good size. He's got quite a bit going for him to succeed here.

I wonder what it would take to get him yet keep Odom...

the lakers brass would never take on all that long term salary for players that have shown to not be worth their pay.

No they'll just go and re-sign their own players to ridiculous deals.

Expect 5/30m for Ariza and 6/40m for Lamar Odom. Then they're going to suddenly wonder, OMG BRO WHY CAN'T WE GET A SF!!! Oh wait maybe it's the sheer amount of cash they dole out for Radmanovic, Vujajic, Odom, soon to be Ariza and Walton. Before it's too late trade these guys.

Most likely though they'll re-sign Ariza and Odom will just jam.

Too bad there's no way to acquire Hinrich with just a deal including Radmanovic and Farmar. Now that would be CLUTCH!!!!!!!

I haven't said that word in years. Damn it if only Radmanovic's deal was a team option for 2010 that deal could have been done. Triangle PG ADGO:kAD
