New Moderator: wizkid27

I have an major announcement to make. We have a new moderator here on the Thunder board. Those who post here frequently know him as wizkid27. Today is where he will make his debut as a new mod here on the Thunder board. Wizkid27 has proven his loyalty to the team by being active and dedicated to the Thunder board community. His intelligence and devotion as a poster and a sports fan are qualities that help define what it means to be a mod. His ideas to help improve the Thunder board have the potential to be successful. In order for the success to happen, it will take hard work, patience, and a team effort from every poster who post here on the regular basis. Just as it takes a village to raise a child. It takes a people to form a community. This board has what it takes to make it happen.

With nothing further, I want to welcome wizkid to the mod squad and congrats to him on making his debut as the newly Thunder mod.

Thanks a lot SD. I'm very happy to accept the offer to be a Mod of this young board. I think we've definitely started off on a very positive note (both in OKC and on this board). I would ask that the regular visitors to this board step up and make their voices heard... as they are very much appreciated.

There will definitely be some patience required until we get to the point where you can refresh the forum every 15 minutes and see a new post, however I very much appreciate everyone's effort and interest in seeing this as the best place on the internet to discuss Thunder basketball.

One group that it will be entirely necessary before making this a true representation of Thunder (or Sonics if you prefer) fans, is the loyal Seattle fans. I would have to say that your opinions, while not only valued, give a perspective of history to most OKC fans that have only gotten to know the players and staff over the past few months.

Ultimately, I am just appreciative of the opportunity to build upon the hardwork that SD2042 has laid down in getting this new community going. Thanks!

Appreciate the good words wizkid. This board has some ways to go, but if everybody teams up together to get this board better in activities and improve the X number of posters, then this board will reach success.

Hey good luck guys I always root for the Thunder if they are on. I like the idea of a team in OKLA I like your color scheme the court looks great as well as the uni's. Just give me your PG for my Lakers and no one gets hurt. R Westbrook is my favorite PG outside of D Will.

One thing I noticed is you guys need some color in your threads avatars and signatures, maybe you can get the guys involved in that, that should help boost the fever a bit. Cheers!

I came in looking to nab a R Westbrook sig and I was like damn no has a sig period.
