This thread is misleading in so many ways. Why make a topic that sounds like a trade is in the works ? Lame. Anyways, I would stick with Gabe. He's a smart player, very good shooter, and seems like a nice, hard working kid. He can learn a lot from Sam Cassel and Rondo. He can be our future back up PG once this team starts to rebuild around young guys again.

^ I agree Gabe should remain. I like our young guys and giving them game time experience will only make them better. Grant is old. Deke is old but I'd love to have him shore up the middle of the 2nd unit. We need to quit being so quick to give up our youngs or else we'll have a team full of old guys and our win now attitude becomes that more desperate. Gabe is steady, great shot, and plays great D. Also he is not a SMALL 1 like RR and EH. I wouldn't be so quick to give up on either Giddens nor Walker without at least seeing what they can bring us, and honestly, I think BOTH of them can really be valuable to us in a few years.

Pruitt hasn't got the overall game yet.

But defensively I think he's ahead of Sam, and only going to get better.

Ball handling up the floor, he's probably better than Eddie now, and only going to get better.

Shooting wise, he's no slouch.

He appears to be learning, and with more time on the floor you can start seeing him driving and passing, and other things that we've been looking for. As 3'rd on the depth chart, he's a pretty nice option.

Nice to see him get more steady time, I'm sure we'll see a lot of games like last night where the game is in hand assuming the bench finishes the job, where Pruitt and House are out together. Gabe and Eddie out together are going to spread the floor better than any other 2 bench players, leaving extra room for Powe and TA. I think the investment in Gabe is starting to show signs of paying off.
