Yes, the Yankees have signed former Red Sox backup catcher Kevin Cash to a minor league deal. Link.

Good move. He fills the Chad Moeller role from last year which could be useful. He also has extensive knowledge of the Red Sox pitching staff, perhaps he can give some of our hitters some pointers. Yankees beat the Red Sox for the second time today. :lol: -Jitpal

This is going to be a very UNDERRATED signing. Cash is a good backstop and good filler for if posoda or molina get hurt.
