That's what drives me crazy about Bynum. He can have such a huge impact on our defense if he would just commit himself to that role and not worry about trying to be a 20/10 type player, which is obviously a pipe dream considering the team he's on. It blows me away how many wide open layups/dunks opposing teams are getting against us, and while some of that blame falls on our guards, an equal amount has to fall on Bynum (or our bigs in general). Half the time Bynum isn't even aware that our guards are forcing their guards baseline which is what they are clearly being instructed to do, so a lot of these easy buckets fall on his shoulders as well as Gasol's. There is no way a team with 2 7-footers should be allowing so many easy points in the paint.
