Hardin looks chubby and another 6'4" Gaurd that pick dont thrill me I stay away....More will be revealed stars are born in March. Curry has 3 steals a game and is a hustle player, but maybe he's not the guy either. Thabeet seems to struggle against talent as well. I dont know about this draft.

I agree that this draft is nowhere close to what last year's was but first off, Harden is 6'5" and would be a good pick. He doesn't have very much of a team around him from what I've seen and is held back by that. He also has a good feel on defense but would not be lockdown by any means in the NBA. He has a goodlooking future and frankly I'd much rather have him than Mccants. If we get Thabeet, don't expect him to be a heavy contributor right away. It will take time, but I think it'll be worth the wait for this guy. He's a 7'3", athletic bigman who could end up being a defensive force in the middle and exactly what we need. I'm sick of every opposing team's perimeter players just torching us on freaking LAYUPS. I don't know how many 1sts we have but we need to package them and maybe Craig Smith and/or Gomes to get into the top 5 again.

Edit: I know this is VERY premature but it's just how I feel about this draft right now. The NCAA season is far from over and not very much has been decided. Anything could happen and it'll be interesting to see how our opinions change as the season progresses.

Hardens BBIQ is crazy good. And he is a solid 6'5 220. I dont know about his reach and other stats like that but kid is a baller.

I've read that he has long arms, and he definitely has some muscle to him. I've seen him listed at 6'4" as well. Keep in mind Foye was listed at 6'4"+ in college, and actually is probably closer to 6'2". I highly doubt Harden is a legit 6'5".

I think Harden is probably closer to 6'4 than 6'5 but i havent seen him up close, just watching on tv. FWIW Mayo was listed as 6'5.

And didn't Mayo end up being just a hair over 6'3" at the combine?

to be honest i think kevin love will be a great player in the nba and has tons of nba 1q however i just dont like it how al has to play the 5 and kevin is only 6'9 and must cover bigger players .. yes big al gets around 2 blocks but hes our main guy.. just like at the start of the year for the toronto raptors.. chris bosh was playing like a mvp only becuase he didnt have to cover the best big man on the other team cuz of J.O . Big al can be the same he just needs a big time shot blocker behind hym.. thats why the love mayo trade didnt make any sence for me. but what can we do now .. if we draft thabeet another big man what does that mean to last year pick then (if we kept oj i would love that pick btw) .. you dont draft 2 post players in the top 5 for one of them becoming a back up??. what do u guys think?

No. McHale just gets a boner for a certain player before the draft and just has to have him, no matter what anyone else in the front office thinks. I dont think drafting Love was part of some "bigger picture" to deal one of him or Al.

Im almost 100% sure that had Morrison fell to us in the 06 draft, he wouldnt have been able to get Stern to the podium fast enough.
