Houston Rockets forward Joey Dorsey was assigned to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Rockets’ NBA Development League affiliate, it was announced today. Dorsey is the 14th player to be assigned from an NBA team to the NBA D-League this season.

Good decision by Morey. Dorsey wasn't getting any playing time on our team. He can improve his skills at the D-League. Maybe making room for Deke?

this is great news! we all know what happened when AB and Carl went down to the d-league. im not expecting the same kind of results. but this will only enhance his games. who know morey could have found another diamond in the rough..

He had that foot injury he just recovered from. Wonder if this is more of a conditioning stint to get him ready for late Jan/Feb.
