I'm not a longstanding Buc fan, but being a supporter of whichever team Jeff Garcia plays for, I'm happy to say that I'll be a Buc fan for at least a season. :D

Let's have a bounce-back season.

Hopefully we will address some needs with the 4th overall pick, and the return of Chris Simms. I know when he left before his injury last season, he left a sour taste in the mouths of Bucs fans, but I think he is the QB in Tampa.

I personally hope the Bucs take Calvin Johnson in the draft, which is what I have been seeing on most mock drafts.

CJ'd be a great pick but I hope we take Adams if he's gone. We need a young impact player on D.

Well, I've been a 49ers fan for as long as I've been an NFL fan. Back in the mid '90s. After Jeff took over the helm there, I fell in love with the guy. Dude plays the game like I like to see it played: with all HEART, and PASSION, and energy, and leadership. He's probably one of the least talented QBs you'll find compared to his peers, but he plays smart and he plays with heart - he gets the job done. Night in and night out, he's fun to watch.

Coupled with the guy's personality. He's totally positive, totally upbeat. I love that.

I didn't like how the 49ers parted ways with him, so ever since then, I've taken to being a proud supporter of whichever team he's a part of (though I always root against the QB over him in the rotation). I'll revert back to supporting the 49ers once Jeff's playing days are done, but 'til then, I cheer Jeff's team on all the way.

Tampa Bay fan here in Toronto. Loved them ever since Tony Dungy was there, and Alstott and Rice are my 2 fav players. I live and breath Tampa Bay Buccaneers football that's for damn sure.

All I can say is thank God no Bruce Gradkowski this year.

Hairy Midget here.

Alstott is my favorite player.

Bucs will win the championship this year without even trying.

Eh, I'm a bit of a mildly enthused carryover from the Superbowl bandwagon days. If we put together a decent season maybe I'll start watching more.

Sancho here,

I've been a fan ever since they drafted Warrick Dunn. And continued after he left. Nothing like being in SoCal surrounded by Raider fans during the 2002 SuoerBowl!

Defense wins Championships, lets reinfuse youth in our defense.

Been a Buccaneers guy for many years. Since they had Sam Wyche as coach, so I have endured some Buccaneer pain over the years. I feel like we should have kept Tony Dungy. Chucky just doesn't have a clue IMHO. Ready for a new regime in One Buc Place. Bring on Calvin Johnson!!!!
You look confused...let me fill you in.

Hey guys , i have to say that I used to love the Bucs . But in these last couple years they have really frustrtrated me so I will be pick a new team to cheer for .

I picked a completely random Hoggy ( Doug Datish ) and will cheer for whtever team he plays for ( as long as it isnt the raiders)

Sorry if this sounds stupid but damn . Some of the moves in the last couple years have been absolutely brutal.

I am a live and die Bucs fan. I hope we get CJ and Cadillac Willams and Clayton break out of their funks (for Clayton's career, he better break out of it this year) Though I wouldn't mind Joe Thomas either.......

I'll be serving as the interim moderator here. I'm a Colts' fan, but rooting for the Bucs on the side won't be much of a conflict of interest. We have former Colts and Bucs on both teams now, so there is a pretty unique relationship there. I look forward to communicating and working with you guys in order to make this a real fun forum for all Bucs' fans. Thanks for your time.

bucs fan since they drafted alstott..he's my favorite player...its horrible having to watch the bucs play like they did last year.

i hope sims wins the starting QB job and i hope the oline gives him time to drop back and throw the ball, unlike last season...if the oline does improve, i think we could make the playoffs.

go bucs!!!

oh, and i was depressed when we didnt get CJ...we shoulda traded up to get him, a stupid move IMO...but it was expected. i was at least happy we didnt take quinn, thank God

Been a fan since I went to a game in Dilfer's rookie year, against fellow rookie QB Heath Shuler's Redskins. Errict Rhett ran for 190 yards on 40 carries & the bleachers were very uncomfortable.

Hey, I've been a Bucs fan since Alstott was aquired. I just graduated from Purdue a bit ago, so I'm sure you can see the connection... I've solely been a Bucs fan since then.

I'm from Indianpolis but hate the Colts. I now live in Oklahoma City with a bunch of Cowboys, but am slowly growing to dislike them as well.

Enjoying the decent season and hoping for a solid playoff berth...
