So I was glancing at the football recruiting page on Rivals.com today and I find this kid. Darrel Scott is his name and he's running back. Go to This page and look at this kid's stats. Well, I'll just give them here for you. These stats were as a junior in high school.
Yards Ypc Tds Long
3,194 9.5 45 80

:o He also has a 3.2 gpa to boot, so he won't go Clay on a team and become academically ineligible. I know it's only high school, but damn, he's good.

Edit: Too bad he hasn't chosen Wisconsin as one of his schools of choice though.

Darrell Scott is just as good of a prospect as Noel Devine if not better. Devine barely breaks the 5'8 mark while Scott has prototypical size. Scott has run sub-4.4s just like Devin did. In addition, Scott is a good student while Devine's recruitment was limited due to his eligibility.

Who knows who the better player will end up being but Scott is/was probably the better prospect.

2007 running backs, I'd take McKnight before Devine.
