OT: Docs linking Vick to the dog-fighting

Post#1 » by ReasonablySober » Mon Jul 9, 2007 8:40 pm

Buddy of mine said on TV they stated they now have docs linking Vick to breeding the dogs and appearing at the fights. Anyone else know about this? If it's true, he's done.

That's what I heard. And other than my buddy that said he saw that the feds now had proof of Vick's involvement, I never heard anything else about it. I guess he was mistaken.

Maybe he wasn't mistaken.

Vick is screwed.

Certainly doesn't look good. How funny would it be if he spent time in prison?

I enjoy watching the guy play, but what a huge box of tools he turned out to be.

What a loser. Why would you get involved in something like this when you are a public figure and will be in deep s**t if you get caught? His football career will be messed up now because people will think of him as the dog fighting guy. He might even get suspended for a whole season or most of it. He just ruined his future in the NFL.

Marcus doesn't seem quite so bad now...

Sad deal.

Because you can take the thug out of the hood, but you can't always take the hood out of the thug. Pit bull fighting has been a big thug life thing for a long time. It has been a pretty big issue even here in Milwaukee.

I'm not sure what the penalty is, but they have a lot on him. They had a undercover cop that was at the dog fights and said he witnessed Vick there. He said that Vick was one of the Big boys and was betting $40k and more on fights.
