Foye's position?

Post#1 » by NewWolvesOrder » Sat Dec 27, 2008 4:53 pm

Randy Foye was playing excusively as SG the last couple of games. Is it because M. Miller is out and Foye has to cover the SG position or is it the sign that wolves finally decided that he's no good as PG?

He is playing sg because Miller is out and McCants had been playing awful.

I have been skeptical about Foye playing SG full time and i have let my feelings known about it on here. Especially with the smaller Ollie and Bassy at PG. But i have to admit, the last 2 games have looked pretty well. Im not saying making a permanent move but its working.

Also just a side note, If the OP is a Wolves fan i feel badly for you. I want Harden more than just about anyone for this team, but we had a guy posting named oj mayo and that didnt work out that well.

he hasn't been good enough at either to stop me from taking a PG or SG in the draft, if the Wolves could get Rubio or Harden for example, but I could seem him being a long term starter at PG more than SG.

Yeah, OP you might want to change to "Tyler Hansbrough." If you can.
I don't want him either. Just sayin'.

If we get Rubio, I believe that will solidify Foye as a SG. Rubio is an amazing passer, and can create offense with his slashing and passing ability. The one knock I have on Rubio as an outside shooter is that he takes mainly set shots outside the arc. In the NBA, players have to get off the floor to consistently make three-pointers.
