Re: 2009 Schedule
I'm hoping for Tampa in November or December, that's a fun road trip.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yes just like Houston was a sure win this December.

Re: 2009 Schedule
Relooking over our schedule I am still of the mindset that it hardly is significantly easier.
The division will be improved, certainly at least from the bottom, and the Bears and Vikings should be ballpark what they were. There also exists the possibility that the Vikes actually find a QB, which makes them the clear favorites in the division.
We play three of the four championship game teams in Arizona, Baltimore, and Pittsburgh. We play teams we lost to this year in the same situations, "excusable losses" in some people's eyes: home to Dallas and away at Tampa.
TT and MM better be on their games this offseason, or next year can STILL be like this one.

Re: 2009 Schedule
I think Tampa may be in transition, which is nice.
Arizona is good this year, but it depends which one we see. Do we see the one that didn't deserve to even be in the playoffs during 3/4 of the regular season or the one that got hot for a stretch during the year and in the playoffs. I still contend that if they play in most other divisions they go 7-9 and miss the playoffs in 2008.
The Vikings don't have many picks/room to add to their core. A QB may make them legit, but I don't really know who is out there for them. A ballyhooed rookie or even if they find a diamond in the rough is going to need some time to develop.
If Mason Crosby could make some kicks, we would have been 6-0 vs. the division this year, so it wasn't all that bad.
That said, it isn't a cake walk either. You're right, the way some times find ways to improve it could be every bit as hard as this year.
