2 Games and you question if they're falling off? Their "swag" is still there.

Not at all.

I feel like the Lakers have no chance against the Celtics this year. Bynum is not "there" yet... Gasol is too soft, Odom is dumb, and all that depth doesn't match the pure intensity/toughness of the Celtics.

Thinking about it, I'd actually like to see a Spurs/Celtics final. Ginobili/Bowen pissing off Allen/Pierce, Parker and Rondo seeing who can run faster, Garnett vs. Duncan... Obviously San Antonio would have to be healthy in the playoffs.

Hmmm...let's see:

swag
1   /swæg/
noun, verb, swagged, swag⋅ging.
–noun
1. a suspended wreath, garland, drapery, or the like, fastened up at or near each end and hanging down in the middle; festoon.
2. a wreath, spray, or cluster of foliage, flowers, or fruit.
3. a festoon, esp. one very heavy toward the center.
4. a swale.
5. a swaying or lurching movement.
–verb (used without object)
6. to move heavily or unsteadily from side to side or up and down; sway.
7. to hang loosely and heavily; sink down.
–verb (used with object)
8. to cause to sway, sink, or sag.
9. to hang or adorn with swags.

According to dictionary.com the last four choices aren't nouns, so you must want to know if the Lakers destroyed the Celtics wreath or garland? If they did that would be a terrible thing to do, especially during this Christmas season. Very Grinch-like, if you ask me.

I'm glad you posted this because I was totally clueless as to what swag is. I was thinking, "maybe it's because I'm white". I remember throwing an h in front of the w, smoking it, and getting a headache, but aside from that I hade no idea.

That has nothing to do with this topic, its not about the lakers being soft or match-ups in the finals. So please before you post your reply think about the question that is being asked

You have to know that after a long winning stretch is broken teams let off a little and could end up coughing one up because the supreme confidence and drive of keeping the streak alive has faded. They now have to remotivate themselves and start another streak.

I shattered my swag once, hurt like hell. Doctor put it in a splint, but now it bends to the left. :D

To answer the OP, no. Boston is an elite team, one game won't derail the momentum & attitude they have. It was one game on the Laker's court, and credit the Lakers for the win.

The Celtics are still an excellent team but maybe yours truly wasn't as far off from the truth as some people claimed I was... Boston just isn't playing with that same confidence they were prior to losing to the Lakers if you caught the game tonight you'd know what I'm talking about.

If by "swag" you mean "terrible bench has been exposed" then you're spot on. :D

let it also be known, that Big Baby Davis can not guard Greg Oden. However previously, before the Lakers, he could when Oden was in foul trouble.
