Yet another classic example as to why Frank should be fired.

1) VC was HOT in the 1st half. Runs plays to take the ball OUT of VC's hands in the 2nd half. If he didn't do that, VC was on the bench during crucial times of the game. Substitution patterns kill me.

2) Simmons still starts and gets over 30+ minutes a game. Simmons is garbage, end of story.

3) Why do we keep playing zone when Chicago is KILLING us from deep. It doesn't work Frank, if I see him call "fist" one more time, I'm going to puke.

4) Where was Lopez when Chicago was killing us on penetration? Boone isn't a threat in the paint, at least Lopez is a big body who can contest a shot. Perfect game for someone like Swift or Swat to play in.

5) Anyone else tired of hearing Frank clap uncontrollably ALL game long?

6) Maybe the coach is to blame for our awful home record? Not trying to make him out as the scapegoat here, but would it hurt to make the change right now? I seriously doubt it.

Until Simmons & Yi get their jumpshots back the Nets will need monster games by both Vince/Devin. Nets are a jumpshooting team & today Simmons/Yi/Hayes all struggled w/ their jumpshots and Devin was on & off.

Rose was something else. He has a better natural feel for the game then Harris imo but it is fun to see them go head to head.

Maybe instead of the Devin/Vince drive & kick to Yi they can use high post screens to get him some open mid-range looks. He's also bloody weak in finishing around the rim - reminds me of Antonio Davis in how long he takes to gather himself & powerup but Davis had power & bulk whereas Yi has a block a comin'. I'd all be for keeping Boone as Lopez backup and inserting Swift in the starting line-up with Yi as backup or vice-versa. As bad as Simmons has been I don't see any good replacement for him w/o jeopardizing the bench...CDR should get more & more burn though, hasn't really shown much yet but more playing time is needed and I still think Simmons is better than Hassell. I like the idea of a Lopez/Swift defensive backcourt.....doubt it materializes but the lack of anything at the PF spot on both ends of the court lately just stinks. Might as well have kept SWat & thrown him in there..same production.

It's tough to get touches for Lopez esp. when Vince/Devin starting heating up & the game gets close but there has to be way a way to get him a few more touches a game - I know I also bite my nails wondering when the time is to call his number because while I know he can score down there he might also just turn it over...tough decision(s).

More Vince in the post plays please - midrange jumper, drives, finds open man weakside corner, can run plays with Devin/Hayes/Dooling running off Vince's post screens.

Is it just my imagination or does it seem almost every time the Nets run a zone then get blasted by a 3 ?!?

I'm even less crazy about shoot first point guards after this game but whatever. Another fine showing at home, this team gives reason for people to come back. I would like to see what Nets can do with a different coach, at least for home games.

Saw the game on YES. The Nets have excellent announcers. Very engaging, and didn't take 10 minute jabs at one another or rip the other team too much.

That 4 point play was BS. The defender fouled Gordon after he realeased it.
