Jared Dudley needs some playing time

Post#1 » by SUNSARETHEBEST » Tue Dec 30, 2008 4:59 am

5 rebounds in less than 10 minutes is pretty impressive, not only his rebounding but his hustle and energy he brings.

So the question is, would you rather see Amundson play less and Dudley play more? or are you fine with Amundson getting all those minutes.

Gotta go with Lou for the simple reason he is a shot blocking machine. No reason why Duds cannot play alongside Lou at times.

How about we trade Barbs for a PG, and play Barnes at the 2 and Dudley at the 3?

Dudley seems like a perfect 'garbage man'. I'd like to see Barnes play more 2, and Dudley at the 3 or even 4, with a lineup like

Amare
Dudley
JRich
Barnes
Nash

Good shooting and SPEED...

One of my favorite garbage men of all time, learned to shoot w/ some playing time. Now he's the MC at Suns games...so there's always hope.

Yeah I got me a purple Grant Hill one of those, white one as well.

I have always said that if I knew about the NBA before I knew who Grant Hill was that Ced would have been my favourite player. I loved the fact that he could and would score 20 without having a play run for him.

I think the fact that both Lou and Dudley are hustle players makes it hard for Dudley to get on the court. But the Bobcats fans seemed to miss Dudley so perhaps he has a bit more potential than Lou?

Is it me or does Dudley seem quicker than advertised? I hope that Dudley get some more playing, having Lou play the four and Dudley playing the 3 along side Hill and Barbosa with with either Shaq or Amare playing the five.

I know it was college...and he didn't play against as good of comp. as the nba...but he looked like a pretty damn good shooter to me...more mid range...he kinda reminded me (in college) of like a paul pierce or carmelo(less athletic)..

Dudley has a nice midrange jumper.

Porter needs to stop playing Lopez and give his minutes to Amundson and Dudley. Dude has done about as much as Dragic has, nothing.

Lopez barely plays as it is, so it's not like he's taking up valuable minutes.

He is probably one of the coolest people I have ever met too. I remember when I was like 12 or 13 he was at the Suns team shop in metro to sign autographs, and he would get nudged by his PR people to hurry up cuz he would just talk to us like a normal person instead of just signing and moving down the line. I still got the autographed ball :D

Return to Phoenix Suns
