Will Big Al come back in 5 years?

I think Big Al will sign with us once his contracts up in Minny. He'll only be 28 years old when it ends in 5 years. Put him with fellow young vet Perk whose his best friend and young vet Rondo and we will can continue to at least be a decent team rather then a bottom of the barrel team.

I vote no. A lot can happen in five years. Why would he necessarily come back to Boston. To re-live the glory days of the 06-07 season?

The team that he would be on has to be better then that one. I can't think of many frontcourts like Perk and Big Al that might be around.

I wonder if any of the Big 3 would still be around? I'd love to see them retire as Celtics and possibly take lesser roles if needed.

It'd be nice to think Al would come back but I would doubt it...
It's still 17 to 11!!!!

As nice as it would be to have him back in green, I'd rather see Danny do something more productive with the capspace/expiring contracts of KG, Ray, and Pierce than wait a year after they all expire to sign one sub-phenomenal big.

Team loyalty is missing in basketball today, so I'd prefer to see him stay. He seems very loyal to any team he is on, so I don't see it happening.

I'd love to have him back in Boston, but I assume Minny will be pretty good by then and would expect him to show some loyalty to Minny. Though I wouldn't mind if he showed some loyalty to the team who drafted him instead

why would he? In five years he would most likely have an identity as a timberwolf....would be their best and highest paid player...in five years with their young roster they may be a playoff side...he may move on, but the C's would be just as likely destination as any other team
