Salmons Anyone

Post#1 » by S.I.C. GM » Tue Dec 30, 2008 9:46 pm

This guy torches us everytime we play. That sounds like an audition to me.

Depending on what Sac wants to. Clear salary. Picks

Kenny Thomas and Salmons for Simmons, Hassel or Swift, with GS pick looks reasonable.

this is a good idea, i like, but i think we can get another decent sf, on the spot without trades, not that we are giving up anyone here, i was thinkin Bonzi Wells, just signed in europe, wwe dont need to sign a sheet since he was a free agent (i think), he would be a solution to our sf woes...

I think I would give up a legit pick for him.

How bout:

NJ sends:
Josh Boone
Stromile Swift
Trenton Hassell
Eduardo Najera
09 1st round pick lotto protected

NJ recieves:
John Salmons
Brad Miller

SAC wouldn't throw in Brad here. "Swap Miller for KT" would be their answer to this proposal.

I literally and realistically see absolutely no team in the league that would want Simmons unless they were doing a semi salary dump like the reason we got him or if a team that has no realistic shot at cap room wants to trade us an expiring for him at the deadline so they have an expiring to use next year as trade bait, if they can't get anything of value for their expiring this season.

Thats it how do I try out for an NBA team? i see so many times players having value only because theyre an expiring contract but are bums on the court. i have some decent game ill just sign one year contracts for 500k and move to all the greatest cities in the country every year. get paid big money, travel, associate with nba players, then retire on a yacht in the Mediterranean.... seems like a plan to me!

I agree with ecuhus. Sac wouldnt include him. And all honesty do we really need him. Boone, Lopez, Yi, and Anderson is good enough. Sac can probably get a better deal for Miller anyway.

A protected first rounder maybe needed.

Boone is included in the trade, so its miller, lopez, yi and anderson. i think its a fair trade but nothing serious that the nets would need to jump on right away.

yeah.. these players get paid millions of $ and i would think they would dedicate their life to improving their game
