WEFFPIM's Tidbits
-OK, this Cubs roster is ticking me off trying to figure out a lineup for them. The Cubs will accommodate this but not putting a lineup out at all.
-Last night was a thrilling 12-inning extravaganza with Milwaukee coming out on top. To not confuse the fans, this game will be limited to 6 innings "to balance everything out."
-RF Corey Hart will be impressed with the outfield wall Under Armour ads and how they seemingly make a "click-clack" sound, then be crushed by the bleachers collapsing.
-Lou Pinella, still angry after last night's loss, will punch Ryan Theriot in the sternum if the Cubs leadoff the game in 1-2-3 fashion.
-Wrigley Field will come alive...into the form of a TRANSFORMER...
-Derrick Turnbow will go increasingly upset as he wanders around the third baseline seats. When asked about his troubles, he will valiantly scream "SAVE FERRIS!!!" and run through a brick wall.
-Bill Hall and Rich Hill will duke it out on who has the most clever name between the two.

Good Luck, Jeff...and Go Brewers

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" Ferris is sitting along the third baseline and catches a foul ball. Derrick can't find him

"Rich Hill is who we thought he was.......and we're not going to let him off the hook!"

Where is the parking lot and all the grills in that pic? It looks like a photo shop of a ballpark in a Ghetto.

He told Ned he's available to pinch hit tonight, and will more than likely catch tomorrow afternoon

Jim Powell: "I don't believe in the superstitions about broadcasters jinxing no hitters or perfect games by mentioning them. But, I'll say this anyway in case it actually works: Rich Hill perfect through ten."

One pitch later, JJ breaks up the no-hitter/perfect game with a double.

Powell: "Well, I guess it does work! I've got a new toy."

Next batter: Prince Fielder

Powell: "No left-handed hitter is going to take one out to right field with the wind tonight."

One pitch later, Fielder hits a 2-run bomb.

Jimmy Powell is hilarious!
