If Baron would have went for a higher percentage shot on the previous possession. :nonono:

What is this? The 8th game an obvious call hasn't gone our way, or a bad call going against us, ultimately costing us the game this season? Pathetic, just like Al, Mr. Inconsistent, Thornton

An airball out of a timeout by Baron. A missed slam dunk by Thornton. A no-call by the refs. That was the difference in the game.

I'm not mad about Paul Davis taking the last shot, dude was having a career game and was shooting well too. It was just bad execution.

Disgusting P.Davis is not your go to mid ranger shooter he got to the line by hustle plays not shooting. Why not put the ball in gordons hands at least he could get a better look at the rim. I'm too tired for this sh*t Fire MD and start the fck over.

You probably sound just about as manly in your posts as I do, as I am mistaken for a dude all the time, despite my signature!

There always seems to be an exception

The last play was executed well, P Davis was open and would hit that shot over 50% normally. I'm more pissed at the previous positions where Davis jacked up an airball and missed a 3 without attempting to pass to anybody else.

Even if it was executed well I wouldn't want Paul Davis shooting it. The guy is just isn't the type of person you rely on for a last shot. He does have a decent mid-range jumper, but.. no.. I didn't like it.

Exactly. Look at the video:

http://www.nba.com/video/games/kings/20 ... r=whatsnew

At 2:01, when P. Davis gets the ball, guess who's open at the three point line to his left...yes, Eric Gordon. Why have your deadliest shooter in when he NEVER gets to take the last shot? WHY O WHY?!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!

Zach Randolph is the only go to guy on this team in a situation like that. Gordon had a nice game, but he may have been covered, anyway it is asking a lot of a 20 year old rookie to take the last shot. It surely beat Baron Davis throwing up a contested, off balance 3 which everyone has seen way too many times. Davis is money on that shot more times than not, he reminds me of Sean Rooks hitting the 17 foot jumper from around the free throw line.

I didn't even know that we had a game last night. I saw that it was close at the end and I'm sure we did something dumb to lose. Hopefully we can do something against Philly and hopefully Randolph plays today.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Well we are now 8 and 22 --- and there are still four teams in the league with worse records.
When we have returns from injuries and drug suspensions and whatnot, we'll be playing three of these teams in the next few weeks, so maybe we'll see a win here and there.
It would be nice.

(I bailed early last night, so only now got to see and enjoy the various comments on my cinnamon alias --- it never occurred to me that it might sound gay or straight, male or female, or whatever. I just like it, and feel that it suits me somehow. It's true, too, that I sometimes wonder how other posters chose their particular board names, and whether they continue to feel comfortable with them over a long period of time. Is Fishy a seafood lover? How did SD2042 develop an attachment to that specific number? Did Guyver choose his X to honor Malcolm, or for some more obscure reason? One hesitates to ask about Scratch, but Shoefanatic seems straightforward enough. It's a personal thing. We do get some sense of each other through our posts: more so than our board names, I think.)

This is quite confusing -- cinnamon is not a female but JJ is -- well, Dyn-O-Mite!

The missed dunk from Thornton is the story of our season.
