We did get lucky with the 6 on 5 but also our other starters & role players really showed up and played well without Brandon Roy :).

Thank god for this classy poster! kudos... you have a nice young team, but sooner than later, some of the pieces would have to make way for a couple of seasoned vets. Would be interesting to see who stays and who goes.... And for all the complaining about KG, maybe Aldridge might be better off winning ONE playoff game before acting like he's accomplished something.... He is a good one, but seriously, talking smack when you have done NOTHING??

Uhh... the announcers pointed out how Aldridge was talking to the Celtics bench after EACH make in the game...

Yeah... well I guess someone who has done diddly squat, and has not been on a winning team in a playoff series... someone like Aldridge?

I meant no disrespect to the celtics or this board - you guys have a phenomenal team and would have won this game 9 times out of 10. I just thought it was funny to see complaints about trash talk coming from a KG fan.

Uhm, there's a difference between supporting the Celtics, and being a KG fan. I like what KG brings to the court, but his antics this year have been ridiculous. I hope he starts checking his ego at the door, or else he'll never get another ring IMO.

Lol... yeah righhhttt... maybe next time the Cs should play 7 on 5 against the Blazers... what a travesty. Oh well...not like the Blazers are going anywhere anytime soon.

Before last season, the Celtics hadn't done much in a really long time. The Celtics literally became good overnight. Remember where your team came from and cut the younger teams some slack who are trying to improve. It wasn't long ago that the Celtics weren't going anywhere anytime soon either.

The 6 on 5 play was ridiculous. I'll give you that. However, there were plays that went against the Blazers that were ridiculous, as well. Just like every game, there are always plays that go in favor of your team and other plays that go against your team. By the end of the game, you hope that things equal out with the officiating. Sometimes that doens't happen, but I think tonight was a night when things did equal out in the end. It was a great game as a fan to watch. I'll admit, it was more great as a Blazer fan than a Celtics fan, but it was still a great game for any fan to watch. The Celtics are coming off their first long road trip (I believe) and it was the 4th game on that trip so I'm sure they're a bit tired. The Blazers have already played two 5 game road trips this season so they can certainly understand how difficult that can be. I have no doubt the Celtics will rest up and be kickin everyone's butt again real soon. The Celtics are still the team to beat this year until someone proves them wrong. Good luck on the rest of your season and continued success.

There are countless plays every game where both sides disagree. There are countless plays every game where you can blame a loss on.

Granted this 6v5 was pretty ridiculous, you can't say that's the only reason the Celts lost. Celtics got plenty of calls in their favor this game just as the Blazers did. I understand being pretty mad about that call but why blame a loss on that one call when every single game has numerous bad calls including this one. In Celtic's fans eyes Oden picked up Ray Allen and hurled him out into the stands, in Blazer fans eyes Allen flopped like a fish out of water after the initial contact. It's called being a homer, and all of us are homers regardless of what we think. I often read game threads of two teams that went against each other and the fans pretty much always have opposite views of 90% of the calls.

Celtic fans don't need to worry about one loss or one bad road trip. You guys are the team to beat.

Too much crap to go through on this thread so I am locking it. I will say this. I am going to have zero tolerance policy when dealing with trolls. This is ridiculous. This forum has taken a turn for the worse lately and it needs to stop.
