you'd trade Boozer and Millsap for Stoudemire? Boozer has a higher efficiency (net productivity) than Stoudemire. So what's the thinking? Stoudemire is less efficient offensively, a lesser rebounder, and known as a weak defender. It doesn't even make sense to trade Boozer straight up. Also, for those who want to dump Boozer in favor of Millsap as a starter, Boozer's efficiency rating is about 30% higher than Millsap on a per minute basis. In fact, only two players in the NBA have a higher rating for efficiency than Boozer. James and Paul. That's it.

Thats why stats aren't always perfect. Boozer benefits from a system that plays to his talents. Athletically, Amare is in a whole different world than either Millsap or Boozer. I think that, given the same number of touches that Boozer gets in the Jazz system, Amare would be more productive. Especially since both Boozer and Millsap are limited by long athletic players, where Amare has no physical equal at PF in the NBA (unless the Magic play Dwight Howard at PF). I think both Booz and Sap are good players, but good players don't win championships, great ones do. I think Amare can be a great player, neither Booz nor Millsap ever will be.

Our counter offer is Price and a 2nd rounder for Landry and Brooks. That's how bad your offer is.

Ohhh, sorry, you guys traded your pick to Sacramento already. What a shame, you ALMOST had us there! Darn it all.

One thing I notice about Sap is that he can play defense than Booz (blocks). And is minimal in turnovers too.

Sap - can provide Booz-like numbers with defense for a lower price than Booz. Not to mention he would love to stick with the Jazz.
Booz - higher priced than Sap with not much defensive posture. Not to mention he's thinking about leaving the Jazz.

I think it's really obvious who should be traded here. Of course, it's Millsap!!!
