Was it the last game where Felton got pushed as he was dribbling the ball up to half court, and ended up going out of bounds, and the ref called it...out of bounds?

Oh, the irony.

I would have said the moral of the story is if someone barely brushes up against you, be sure to fall completely down, either in bounds or out, to force the refs to make a call. But again, a guy pushed our PG out of bounds in the last game, and it was called out of bounds?

Gotta love the refs.

New Jersey, New York... how many big markets we are gonna play against in the near future. Unless we would somehow dominate those in those matches we can already count them as losses. If the Knicks wiould be Grizzlies, Kings, Wolves, etc. we wouldn't lost.

I wonder how many of Diaw's fouls are bad calls. He tends to get in foul trouble recently and i don't want to beleive that is because refs/nba machinery have found out he is vital and essential part of our offensive game.

We had no business losing to the Nets at home, and especially the Knicks tonight at home. Just very demoralizing losses. We let them break a 6 game losing streak in our own building.

Felton should never touch the ball in the final 5 mins

I've said that to myself since the game in Houston last year when he ran the same play 3 or 4 times and each time Mutombo blocked the shot.

He shouldn't be in the game longer then 20 minutes. It would be nice if he only played the backups or sg vs the worst defenders in the league.
DJ getting more pt would seriously change the team.

^ I second that. DJ needs to get more PT in order for him to adapt and grow faster in the NBA.

Indeed. And this is why hopes for a playoff spot this season are fruitless. We haven't been able to win key home games against below average teams. The task only gets harder as this season goes on, and the road games stack up.

Felton is killing this team. He has some skills, but he reminds me of the movie "Airplane", and the lead character's "drinking problem". It would seem so easy to adjust his play and mindset to creating and not shooting, but he continues to make the same stupid mistakes again and again. These are the same problems other teams see and why they are not willing to trade a player of real value for Felts.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

I know I have been one of Feltons biggest critics on this Board. I really hate to bash any player, especially one of our own. I mean the kid tries hard, and he plays with great heart. He is not a bad player, and is actually a pretty decent player. It just seems to me that he tries to take over and emulate MJ at the key moments of games, and he just doesn't have the skill to do that. It is frustrating, but I hate bashing him over and over for it. But when he takes shots and does things so late in the game which cost us a chance to win the game, it is easy to just blow up at his game and bash him. Then I lay in bed and think about what we say, and think, man, what if he has a small son/daughter who reads our comments? That isn't cool. But I guess it comes with the territory, being an athlete who makes that kind of money with the fame and notoriety which comes along with being an athlete. I guess any athlete has to be able to make his family uderstand that fans will love them at times and be their most vocal critics at times.

If Felton didn''t play for UNC there would be websites deticated on how we need to trade him. He is terrible as a starter. He just might be good vs weaker comp so maybe playing 20 mins a game when there are really weak players he could be productive. Right now he is costing us victories.
He has to go and go today.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
