I had my share as a kid growing up in Sweden. To make my own money while in school, I took a Saturday mailman gig which was a bicycle route in the most elevated terrain in my home town. It paid pretty ok but imagine a 14 mile bicycle route, loaded with mailbags, in -5 to -15 degrees Celsius and sideways snow/slush, up and down steep hills and on icy sidewalks. The sun didn't come up until around 9:30, at which point I was almost done with my route. I remember one Saturday in specific, we had enormous amounts of snow that week and it got very cold and almost storm conditions towards the weekend. -25C and heavy humid winds equalled -40C they said, and so the union wouldn't let me go out on my bike. I was dressed in fur hat and the whole bit and ready to go on my bike when they told me the union had got a cab to drive me around my route. Sweet surprise. Nowadays, just thinking of biking 14 miles in any terrain or weather makes me tired.

Sounds pretty kiddish but I have a crush on a friend of a friend, who's profile I checked on facebook. She shares similar interests as me and there's a high probability that we can click well.

Now, whats the best plan of action?

i'd find time to hang out with her (a party or something, where its not just you two) and see if you do click, and go from there
there is no need to rush into any relationship, get to know her first

and do it tonight when your totally wasted

When you meet someone you really like, all macking related things DD and I have preached here in the past go out the window. When the real deal happens, there's only one rule — be yourself and go with the flow.

Happy New Year, everybody.

Man, I wish things were that simple. I wouldn't even need advice if I can meet the girl in person but the problem is that she's attending college in another state and I haven't even seen her personally, which is why this whole thing seems too weird to me. Worse yet I feel like an e-stalker at times to get attracted to someone like that.

One good thing to come out of this is that she's been my inspiration to completely quit on something that I've been trying for so long.

Well I never said I liked her but I do have a crush on her and from what info I could get from friends, she seems to be a great girl and should be compatible with me. I'm trying to get an introduction and move forward from there. Hope it turns out good.

Am I the only one that seems to think that Justin Timberlake is one of the few singers that actually have a great chance at becoming a great actor?

Question for you guys.

Yes, it is in somewhat a basketball question. Just didn't want to start a new thread about it.

I'm going to the game in Toronto when the Lakers play the Raptors on Feb. 4th. It's going to be my first ever NBA experience live, so I'm crazy excited. Now, It would be cool to meet a couple Lakers, get some pictures with them and everything. What's my best way of going upon that?

Besides watching a nice Lakers win and seeing my favorite player in the world do his thing (Do I need to mention it's KB24?), a picture with him would probably be the craziest thing ever.

So.. what's my chances of it happening? I'll get to the game as early and stay as late as it needs to be. Would love to meet Kobe and a couple others.
