It's too easy to argue that they're close since their stats are equal yet Wade already has a ring.
So the bottom line is that Wade's done something Lebron has not been able to do yet, and that's win a championship. He's got that on him. Wade took his game to another level in the Finals and forced his way to a championship, Lebron didn't (he will I assume). Any attempt to refute that is simply an excuse (spurs having tough D -

). You can keep trying to fool yourself that Lebron and Wade aren't close. I mean did you not watch the olympics? Lebron and Wade were clearly on another level from the rest of the world but not each other.
Stats, head-to-head matchups, success, and achievements all prove that they're very close; I don't know how any rational/competent individual could possibly argue otherwise.
