A small rant about Wiretap

Not a big deal, just something that annoys me: What's with the Wiretap using question marks in every headline? I know it's a sign of uncertainty and they don't want to make something sound true when it might not turn out to be, but it's getting ridiculous. Some examples:

Bobby Brown Could Become One Of The NBA's Best Defensive Guards?
It would be better to use "John Salmons: Bobby Brown Could Become One Of The NBA's Best Defensive Guards." The way Wiretap did it, a person unfamiliar to RealGM would think there was some legitimate support on that claim, rather than someone hyping up his teammate.

Wilson Chandler 'Doesn't Really Understand How Good He Is'?
What, news reporters think they can read Wilson Chandler's mind? Hm, I can kind of read his thoughts and it looks like he doesn't really understand how good he is, but I'm not exactly sure so I'll add a question mark? It would be better to just use "Knicks Say Wilson Chandler Doesn't Really Understand How Good He Is."

Gordon A Candidate For 3-Point Contest?
This one's ok, but they could have just used "Gordon Could Be A Candidate For 3-Point Contest." That statement in itself already implies uncertainty, a question mark is redundant.

I don't know why this stuff pisses me off, but it just does.

Good point, and I agree about the quotes. If someone says something, attribute it to that person. This is best placed in the forum entitled Feedback and Suggestions though.
