Honestly, I'd be happy with any of them minus Morrison.

Seriously? Hughes? I wouldn't want him anywhere near this team...Dalembert on the other hand would fit nicely with Al. What does his contract look like? I know it can't be good

He is one of the two that I wouldn't want on the Wolves. The other being Gooden. Maggettes contract is way too long, his defense is awful, he is selfish, and his main skill of driving and getting to the line will not work as well with Jefferson and Love in/near the paint. Dalembert would be a good fit with Love/Jefferson although he is overpaid. Hughes/Felton would bring defense to the back court along with beng able to play pg/sg. Morrison would be worth the risk if he was traded for McCants or something. What I am getting at is I don't see why Maggette would be the only one you would like to see on the Wolves.

I think if the Kings could get some expiring contracts and Miami's draft pick they might trade Brad Miller. Add in James Harden and it changes the team quite a bit for next season.

Raymond Felton is the only one on that list that can help this team. Dalembert can, but his contract bothers me.

I'd be interested in a deal with Chicago along this idea:

Noah + hughes for

Pekovic + Cardinal + Collins

I hate giving up Pekovic and we eat an extra 6M in cap space on Hughes albatross
but that seems to be a fair price for making them wait a year on Peck. Chicago
gets a some flexibility for this coming off season (to possibly sign Gordon, etc.) and
gets a long term solution to their need for a big man who score inside.
This assumes of course Peck is still coming over and that most of us see him as
a redundant player with Al and Love around. I think this really helps both teams.

I think I'd rather do this with a late pick, but I like this idea. Hughes has been productive this season (12.6 PPG), but he's not worth the contract.

There's some new today that may make CHI mroe inclined to make this deal:

ESPN wrote: News: Coach Vinny Del Negro fined Hughes, Joakim Noah and Tyrus Thomas for conduct detrimental to the team for violating a rule in the team handbook prohibiting pregame eating in the locker room before the Bulls' road win win over New Jersey Monday, the Chicago Tribune reports.

Spin: Some players grumbled, saying they were unaware of the rule. From there, Del Negro dealt with players directing what he viewed as either improper language or disrespectful behavior toward him, which is probably why the fines were leveled. This seems to be a ticky-tacky kind of a fine and Hughes has had productive contests in each game, so this did not appear to have any short-term impact, though we will need to see if there any long-term ramifications.

Maggette = No

Dalembert = Don’t like the price at all, but if it was something like Cardinal and Collins being traded with little else, I probably would.

Felton = Sure.

Adam Morrison = Redundant with what we have now at SF. As part of a bigger deal, maybe.

Gooden = Not sure why we would need another PF.

Hughes = If we could get another player of value in the deal, I would.
Noah + hughes for Pekovic + Cardinal + Collins is good. I would also rather include one of our late picks instead of Pekovic. I’d actually try to expand it to include McCants and Telfair for Gordon.

Brad Miller = Sure. Not sure what they would want though.

Don't we have an open roster spot since brewer is down for the season. Should call up some random dleague player. To bad Pat Ewing JR got signed by the knicks last month he'd be a player I'd like to give a look at.

Anyway I'd take on 3\2 on this list if we could! Maybe courtney Sims too!!

Felton, due to age primarily, would be interesting.

Dalembert, due to fit, would be interesting, though that price tag is mighty steep.

Miller as an outside possibilty due to fit; though age, price, and cap implications (not sure on contract anymore) may all be very negative factors. He would operate nicely from the highpost if I recall, and can play down low a bit.

The only way you do a Chicago trade is to get another piece, mainly Noah, or if it helps financially and we don't lose much talent.

No to Magette (contract, injuires, position) and Morrison (have Miller) unless they weren't the prize and something better came along with them.

Noah has been very disappointing this year. I don't know why people on this board are so in love with this guy. Chicago's PER vs Opponent's PER at the center position is DEAD LAST.

That is a fair criticism given his overall play this season. If he strings together a few more games like his last one against Orlando though we won't have a shot at getting him. He's still young and has plenty of room to improve. My varmint instinct tells me he will eventually turn it around in a big way. I just don't see him doing it long term on the Bulls and sense an opportunity right now to make a play for him. We'd still have to give up something good to get him (like Pekovic) but I think there is a chance. Once he develops, I think he would compliment Jefferson nicely.

Another guy who was also mentioned in trade talks not that long ago was Kaman assuming the Clips actually ever made him available. (Wouldn't he pair nice with Love?) He's a fish out of water here in L.A. As an outdoorsman, I think he would love living/playing in Minnesota.
