i wouldnt say the celtics got worse as rondos playing out of his mind this year...i might even say they are a little better (but we're better as well). and i think the loss of posey is a little overrated because a healthy tony allen fills in nicely to assume the posey role of last season.

definitely will take a great effort to beat the c's if we were to meet them in the playoffs

I think it is still wayyyyyyy too early to talk about stuff like this. The season isn't even halfway through yet. Big game on Jan 9, right? Celtics vs Cavs. That should be fun.

Warriors fan here:

Cavs have a chance at the championship, which is saying a lot considering the way the Celtics and Lakers have been playing. I see you guys as the big 3 in the league, and I'm 100% sure the title will go to one of you guys.

On a sidenote, LeBron is the real deal. Best player in the league by far, IMO. His numbers are, for lack of a better word, absolutely disgusting. I haven't watched him play much this year but if his D is as good as everyone says, then I honestly don't think he has a weakness beside his 3 point shooting...? I don't believe in the "next Jordan/Bird/Wilt/etc." type arguments because I think every player in the league is unique. However, I have no problems in saying that he can probably surpass prime Shaq and head towards prime Jordan type impact, and maybe surpass even that. We'll see...

Allen can't shoot as well as posey did, especially in the clutch. Allen is also much smaller than posey. they would put posey at a the 3 or 4 and go small at times; an option they don't have with allen. Not to say allen isn't a good player or anything, but he is no james posey.

I would like to thank the OP for this thread.

The Jazz have a good team and coach... except for one self centered player (Boo$er) they would be better off moving. I am O.K. with the CAVs being in the Shadows of the Lakers and Celtics which places more pressure on them than the CAVs for the NBA title.

LeBron will do something that no other superstar I can think of in NBA History has done, win a ring without another star next to him. That's legendary sh*t right there.

Actually, the 03 Detroit Pistons had NO stars. None of the players were all-stars until AFTER they won the championship. Prince was a 2nd year Player, Billups had been bounced around, and was considered a below-average PG, Rip was the closest thing they had to a star... Ben Wallace got picked-up from Washington, but hadn't made his imprint on the league yet, and Rasheed got picked-up at the deadline that year, and was originally picked-up as the 3rd Big.

So, technically, it has happened before...since NONE of them were stars. NOBODY gave them a shot at beating Shaq and Kobe and the plethora of all-stars on the Lakers' team (Karl Malone, Gary Payton, etc, etc). THAT Pistons team was simply amazing.

Just quit.

Quit why?

Tony allen is shooting a whopping 17% from 3 this year, and 30% for his career.

James Posey is shooting 45% from 3 this year, and 36% for his career.

Am i missing something? Perhaps it is you who needs to quit. We are not talking about Ray Allen, but i guess i can't expect you to read the post i was quoting or anything. that would be absurd, even though it is made perfectly clear we are talking about Tony Allen, not Ray Allen.

Thanks.
