To be fair to MJallday59 it is the holidays...

He dropped me an email yesterday saying he couldn't post yet but would as soon as he had access.

The Los Angeles Clippers and Toronto Raptors have reached a trade agreement

Trade 1:
Clippers Send:
Baron Davis $11,250,000

Raptors Send:
Jose Calderon $7,438,017
Jason Kapoono $5,784,480
Salaries work just fine taking into account Jose and Baron's BYC's.
Trade Machine link: http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/t ... &te=&cash=

Trade 2:
Raptors Send:
Sasha Pavlovic $4,500,000
Will Solomom $711,517

Clippers Send:
Jason Kapono $5,784,480
Salaries work.

Trade 3:
Raptors Send:
Utah 2009 first (unprotected)

Clippers Send:
Will Solomon $711,517
Trade works as Solomon is minimum salary player

Clippers accept and waive Jason Williams to make this trade work. While its tough to loose a talent like Baron, this deal makes us younger, gives us depth at the 2/3 spot and also gives us salary flexibility going forward. It also helps us get younger and Jose is a perfect fit for such a system.

It may still work, but Jose is BYC.

I subbed in Parker(check link) who makes only $50,000 more than Sasha and it didn't work. So the LAC/Toronto deal needs to be reworked for sure.

I just changed the trade to make the BYC's work.

alright, we have a bit of a mix up that needs to be cleared up before the new raptors trade with the clips goes through. bcortell just informed me that he accidentally included the utah pick in this trade a few pages back. unfortunately, he didn't own it anymore. he meant to include the boston pick. that is a small difference, but difference none the less. since raptors gm is now trading the utah pick, we need this cleared up.

option one for raptors gm: accept the trade with the boston pick instead of the utah pick and change any future trades

option two for raptors gm: deny the trade with the boston pick and get your players back from the minny trade.

either way this will effect your new trade so it needs to be cleared up.

Delonte West $3.85
Jamario Moon $0.711517
Hassan Adam $0.711517

The Orlando Magic accept the deal with Detroit. So sad to lose Dwight Howard but the ability to get Thaddeus Young, Amir Johnson, Earl Watson and Andrew Bynum is too much to pass up. We wish him all the best in Detroit.

Detroit and Orlando have agreed to an epic blockbuster.

The Detroit Pistons will be sending out young studs Andrew Bynum, Thad Young, and Amir Johnson as well as PG Earl Watson to the Orlando Magic in return for Superman himself, Dwight Howard. Royal Ivey will also be on his way to Detroit.

6,200,000 + 3,666,667 + 2,769,300 + 1,968,120 = 14,604,087
13,758,000 + 854,957 = 14,612,957

there is a veto request for this trade but there was also howard's byc brought to my attention.

dwight howard is byc. his current salary is $13,758,000. his outgoing value for the magic is half of that 6,879,000.

6,879,000 + 854,957 = 7,733,957 x 125% = 9.67 mil, not close to covering the 14.6 mil he is receiving.

trade rejected.

The Denver Nuggets and Toronto Raptors have agreed to a trade

Toronto sends
Erick Dampier $11,553,000
Jose Calderon $7,438,017
2009 1st via Cleveland
Toronto receives
Jason Richardson
Andre Miller

Denver sends
Jason Richardson $12,222,222
Andre Miller $10,333,333
Denver Receives
Erick Dampier $11,553,000
Jose Calderon $7,438,017
2009 first via Cleveland

Math: 11,553,000+7,438,017=$18,991,017x1.25=23,738,771.25 (close but yes!)

Why: Denver is ELATED to have a PG of Calderon's caliber to play alongside Michael Redd and Josh Howard. Our backcourt is young and ready to play for the future and present with JET as our sixth man of the year contender. Damp is another gem who we feel can start at C and be a prescene with Zach Randolph. The first round pick will be nice trade bait for a team looking to trade vets for picks. Miller was aging and going to fall behind Terry in the lineup while richardson was the odd man out in the SG/SF rotation

The Wizarsds would like to cut Stephane Lasme and announce two trades with the Bucks:
Trade 1
Washington sends
Allen Iverson $20,840,625
Etan Thomas $6,864,200
= 27.704825

Bucks send
Tayshaun Prince $9,500,000
Chris Wilcox $6,750,000
Tyronn Lue $2,250,000
Deshaun Stevenson $3,616,071
09 Milwaukee second
= 22.116071 * 125% = 27.64508875 + .125 = 27.77008875 >
27.704825

Trade 2
washington sends
Anthony Carter $797,581

Bucks send
09 Houston second
Due to Carter having a minimum contract no salary has to be returned.

The Wizards do this deal because iverson was not in our rebuilding plans. Adding a playoff vetern, dumping thomas salary will help with our rebuilding efforts.

The Bucks accept both deals with Washington. While we will greatly miss Prince and his defensive presence, the Bucks management has decided to go for the 2009 free agency class. This trade frees up some money for this offseason, with Iverson only being a one-year rental. Carter gives us additional defense and depth at the point guard position, while Thomas' contract is one year shorter than that of DeShawn Stevenson.

there was a small confusion with what roster Danthay Jones belonged on. initially he was traded to MIL and has been on that roster ever since. at some point after that, he was mistakenly picked up and waived by two teams, eventually picked up by a 3rd team, and traded to a 4th team, minny. all this occurred under the old MIL gm's watch...so as to not punish the other teams that thought they were dealing with a player that belonged to them, MIL forfeits their rights to jones. u guys gotta make yourselves responsible for checking added/dropped players since it goes unchecked by anyone but yourselves.

The Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers have agreed to the following

Hedo Turkoglu 6,864,200
Josh Mcroberts - 711,517
Shannon Brown - 797 581
x 1.25 = 10,466,622 > 10,126,984

for

Troy Murphy - 10,126,984
2010 2nd round pick

The Orlando Magic are sad to lose Hedo Turkoglu and promising young forward Mcroberts but we really like what Murphy brings to our team. His rebounding and shooting should be an ideal fit next to Dwight Howard.

With the mixup over Dahntay Jones now resolved, the pending trade I have with Washington would put me below the minimum roster limits. To avoid this, the Milwaukee Bucks would like to sign Rob Kurz to an un-guaranteed Contract.

From page 33:
