Von Wafer

Post#1 » by smapor » Fri Jan 2, 2009 9:45 pm

I liked his energy. Anybody have any news on why he hasn't been getting any minutes ever since his injury? Still injuried? Dog house?

Granted defensively he wasn't great, but he provided alot of energy on the O. I wonder why Ric is not playing him some minutes or some games. Havent seen him since T-mac came back from his vacation.

With most of our players coming back you wont see him much... But, then again as they come back more seem to fall.

My guess is his lame defense, but who knows?

eFG of 39% from jumpshots, 1.5 passing rate.
In other words, he's a bad shooter and passer.

Must of taken over Dorsey's spot :(

Speaking of Dorsey.....
I hope Dorsey does well in the D league, so he can come back. To me he is another Chuck Hayes but somebody who can dunk and jump.

he is in the dog house

Adelman did not like what Wafer did few weeks ago, not sure against whom we played, but he got an attitude during the game and Adelman sat him down, since then, he has been waiting to come back in the game

Von Wafer just told me to shut up with my numbers.

Start Wafer and bench McGrady.

How about his performance tonight (against Toronto)? Man, I might have to stop pretending to be a Von Wafer fanboy, and really become one.

Some ways its kind of sad that we fans have to rely on a D-leaguer to bring some sunshine to our team :(

I know i been harsh on T-mac, but i really just want him to play and play well. Not this half-hearted effort.

Like i keep on saying, if he is injured, i rather see him sit until he is back (even if it take 1-2 months)
