Suffering from disappointment and snobbishness Alabama will falter. Utah will pull out to a lead in the first half. The third quarter the Tide will pull closer, but Utah will win in the end by more tyhan 1 score.

why are they even scheduling this game. dang it oregon state, we shouldve been playing alabama for a great game.

anyhow, the channel is turned from this game after the first quarter. BLOWOUT.

forecast? cloudy for utah, and with an excellent chance of getting pummeled by a tornado.

Andre Smith has been suspended for the Sugar Bowl

NEW ORLEANS -- Alabama Crimson Tide All-America left tackle Andre Smith has been suspended from the Sugar Bowl for violating team rules, possibly signaling an end to the Outland Trophy winner's college career.

"The University of Alabama, the team and the football program are more important than any individual player," Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban said in a statement Monday. "Every one on our team depends on each other to be responsible, to make good choices and decisions relative to their actions."

Saban did not specify Smith's violation leading up to Friday night's game against No. 6 Utah.

The junior is expected to be one of the top players selected in the NFL draft if he opts to skip his final season at Alabama. Smith has been noncommittal about his future plans, but Saban offered a hint in his statement that the player wouldn't be back.

Utes will score 14 in the 4th when Brian Johnson and Freddie Brown get rolling. The offensive play calling from the OC has held the Utes back all year, but he is on his way out and Johnson will have control.

I thought Utah could be like a Boise St of a couple years ago and this game should have a good finish. Bama's really missing Andre Smith.

I honestly don't know if JPW is just showing his true colors or if Andre Smith was really this damn important to the Tide.
