can Bynum rebound

Post#1 » by Mikchek » Sat Jan 3, 2009 3:28 pm

it seems since Gasol got to town no matter how soft they say he is he is killing Bynums stats...I mean the kid just can't get it together...he still has a lot of value do to his upside...do you think it would be wise to move him in a keeper league?

I wouldn't move him, especially not in a keeper league, the kid has just turned 21... Except if you get good value for him you should move him, but I doubt that's the case with the way he is playing right now. Though I think he's just in a slump and can get back to his 13-10-2.5 form from last year. But indeed, I thought it would be Gasol's numbers that would take a hit with Bynum in the line-up, but up until now, it has been the other way around.

I think a lot would depend on how many keepers you get; If Bynum would be a realistic keeper (ie many keepers) then I'd hang onto him for a while.

Definitely keep him if your in a keeper league. I'm in a keeper league where I can only keep 3 players a year and I'm keeping him, Deron, and Igoudala. He isn't putting up great numbers now but he's still worth something since there are only a hand few of bigs out there.
