This thread was inspired by the Bobby Brown thread. Brown reminds me of a player that everyone loves in Sacramento but is soon cut, traded, or lost to FA. I would like to see what players you guys liked but did not stay on the Kings for one of the reasons listed.
For example: Cuttino Mobley, Dahntay Jones, Keon Clark, etc.

Re: Forgotten Favorites
Yeah, I liked Cuttino "Cat" Mobley. Even though, he was like a chucker (While shooting good percentages iirc) I liked his game overall.
Dahntay Jones was a good player to watch. I remember the dunk over Blathe of the Wizards that was nasty. And the crazy block against Bass of the Mavs. He was a solid defensive player. And had crazy hops.
Another player I liked was both Maurice Evans/Matt Barnes. They were both young and scrappy at the time. Hustled their *** off every possession.

I loved watching Micheal the Animal Smith. Also Brain Grant back in the day was a lot of fun to watch too.

Re: Forgotten Favorites
Barnes should have never left Sacramento. After all, he is now the best player left in the Chris Webber trade

Yeah, I didn't get the Barnes throw in. I liked that initial "youth movement" featuring Mo Evans and Matt Barnes.

Re: Forgotten Favorites
Barnes and Evans with Martin was an amazing group that would have been really nice for this team. Maybe even keep Dahntay Jones and you would have a nice core of wing players (including Cisco). They hustled, played D, brought excitement, etc.
I used to see Dahntay Jones every week at the MGM Grand in Vegas during the offseason, dude is cool as **** lol

Gerald wallace has to headline this list. When we protected lawrence funderburke and not wallace, I nearly crapped myself. That has to be one of the hugest regrets from petrie. Dahntay jones was nice as well, he is crushing on denver right now.

Re: Forgotten Favorites
Like someone has mentioned before, I thought Justin Williams had a lot of potential. He was an athletic freak who if nothing else would have brought a lot of energy. I know he had an issue off the court and the trade made sac cut 2 players (Jones, Williams) but I thought that losing Bibby along with those 2 players for the players we got back was terrible.
