If I'm the Lakers coaching staff I'm running Kobe off screens all game just to put pressure on the hammy of Roy's. Or either push the break and force Roy to run all night. Bynum must redeem himself for that garbage he called a performance against the Jazz. And like always we must contain Outlaw, that boy just kills us every time we see them here or up there.

Unlike most teams in the league, these guys match up with us very well and I expect it to be a close game. They beat the Celtics without Brandon Roy so that just goes to show how good they really are. If Roy doesn't play then Kobe should camp out in the post with the smaller Rudy Fernandez on him. Also, we can't let Outlaw go off like he always does.

GO LAKERS!!!

i watched the blazers play the celtics, Oden is a strong guy and has been playing better. Bynum better be ready cause if he's not, he's gonna pick up fouls real quick. He plays like a true big man on the block, posts up, powers threw the defender and goes up for the strong finish. I wish Bynum could play like that. Instead he post up and fades away on guys like Okur :-? If Bynum doesn't change that then Oden will be better then him by next year

Looks like Brandon Roy is unlikely to play.

Damn, I was just about to post a game thread. :P

Portland has gotten more in-sync and have been playing a lot better since we last played them. Good even matchup with our team. The last game was a humiliation for them. They'll try to redeem that this game. Lets hope we don't let our guard down. I wanna see Bynum take command of his huge contract and shove down Oden's throat.. hehe I mean, show us what we paid to see you do.

Go LAKERS!!

Because lakers respect this very good young team I expect the lakers to come out and be very aggressive. Lakers by 10.

Good luck to you guys. Of course, you won't really need it much because with or without Roy (and in this case it will be without) you probably would win in LA. I don't even think I can say this will be a fun game to watch either being a Blazer fan.

This is a game where we really have to play our game regardless of how the other team is playing. Portland won't relax because of Roy and they beat Boston without him.

2 things

1- L.Aldridge had a great game vs. the booger greens but he was amped on the trash talk war and they lack bigs. We will throw a quality man at him every minute he plays unless we blow them out and send in the scrubs... though I don't even consider Powell a scrub.

2- Oden vs. Drew. Drew best not go with that experimental fade away stuff. All he needs to do is draw fouls, dunk when possible, and defend like he can. It was degrading to the entire Jazz to watch Deron slammed to the court with a pair of clean blocks. Having a team scared of walking into the paint is priceless. Hard to score that many individual points compared to the plus/minus you get out of paint fear and results to back it up. Oden-... only a few more stupid injuries for me to stop saying his injuries are flukie and start saying it's horrible he had the 'itis from the get-go.

Bynum has to return to being a presence. Oden looks like he's really coming around.
