James harden
I have been keeping a real eye out for james harden.. his game up and down is great . he can shot the ball from deep and also attack the rim while dishing it off.. everyone says they see a little brandon roy in him.. how do wolves fan feel about adding james to our team next year?

Re: James harden
Thabeet and Harden are 1A and 1B on my wish list right now. I have a thing for big legit centers so I personally would prefer Thabeet but if Harden is on the board I say we pick him (and keep him) because of the Roy/Mayo public relations fiascos.

Re: James harden
There is no doubt in my mind that we could use him, he is a good defender which our team as a whole needs help with. If he and Thabeet are available with our pick I'd have hard time deciding who to take. The edge would probably go to thabeet just because we really need a legit 7 footer, not to mention he'd do a nice job clogging up the lane some.

Exactly. I think we definitely need a backcourt player. A point guard if Ollie leaves/retires, or a 2/3 depending on how we want to use Carney. Later in the first round, we can grab a center. Of course, this also depends on where we end up.
A dream scenario:
1a. James Harden
1b. Darren Collison
1c. Jerome Jordan

Re: James harden
We can say that Kevin Love is not actually a low post player, because he isnt. He isnt a traditional big man, he works perfectly with the true low post presence Al brings. I dont know how many times Devilz or Rev has to say this.
As for Harden or Thabeet. Harden, by a looooong mile. Its not close and it shouldnt be.

Re: James harden
i would have thought dream scenario would be drafting ricky rubio
rubio is a massive upgrade at pg and we can draft a centre with miamis pick

Re: James harden
Rubio is waiting til 2010.
I would absolutely love James Harden. I haven't seen him play much, but everything I read about him from every source sounds exactly like the guy we need. Judging by his 4.3 assists per game, does that mean he could bring the ball up the floor and initiate the offense a little ala Brandon Roy? I'm hoping we can pair Foye and Harden together in the back court and have both of them just be "guards" rather than one shooting guard and one PG. I see the benefits of having a true PG, but Telfair's 31.3% FG shooting is getting really old. Well I guess Telfair would still be the change of pace PG off the bench.
...and McCants better not be back next season

Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Rumor has it Rubio isnt coming out this year. If thats isnt the case and he is on the board when we pick, thats a foregone conclusion.

It's far too early in the year for draft threads to be sprouting spontaneously.
I also heart Harden - not as much as I liked Mayo last year, but more than I like anyone else this year.

Harder to say, put I'd probably take the latter.

Re: James harden
Harden is having much better college years than Mayo had. He's way more versatile and valuable to his team. Hopefully that translates to the pros as well as Mayo's skills have. Well, only if we get him and keep him that is.

Re: James harden
talent wise, Harden
but to fit in the team's multiple needs, Thabeet is the man we should target

If you're drafting for needs, a revamped backcourt should be first.

Re: James harden
need and talent harden wins.
thabeet is drastically over rated. I would rather draft harden and trade one of the late 1st for a vet like haywood.

Re: James harden
hey thats a great idea of trying to deal for haywood and they did draft a 1st round center this past year so he could be on the block??.. a big man like him would be great and also having harden

Re: James harden
Wiz like Haywood too much to deal him at this point. McGee is okay but i dont think they are ready to insert him in the SL yet.
