Ariza should have been a nominee for dunk contest
I would have loved to see trevor in the dunk contest but we cant even vote for him. I dont get how Alexander/westbrooke/ fernendez were picked to be voted for over trevor.

Say what happened to it.. shessh!
Let the fans vote or something.. well but not to the extent that you'll see YAO dunking but give us people who volunteered and let us vote.
I would definitely love to see Ariza duke it out above the rim... he got mad hops
or have street ballers vs nba ballers dunk contest... That'll be interesting.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.
The NBA is going with a new theme where it likes to take guys drafted in the past 2/3 years. Hence the "Rising Star" Slam Dunk competition. I think that's why you don't see names like Kobe, Vince Carter and even players like Ariza. They want fresh blood, I guess.

I would have liked to see Ariza in the dunk contest. He seems coool, so he may have done some creative things that could make a somewhat normal dunk really entertaining.
Pay no mind to the battles you've won

Either way, Ariza is a far superior in-game dunker than he is a creative, dunk-contest dunker. I dont think he'd thrive in a contest such as this one.
