That's not because Yao is so good, it's because his backup is Chuck Hayes. And I don't hate Yao. I just think he's an overgrown, stupid oaf, who will always disappoint us.

Not sure we as fans have anything to believe in with this team. Wait..no...we can believe that a key player will always be injured at some point.

you got that right. next season we'll be a much better team, we'll absolutely make the playoffs.

T-Mac United wrote:If McGrady's injured, which I doubt he is, it's his fault that he didn't take any measures to prevent the injury from reoccurring. Again, I think it's ridiculously absurd that some of you are still trying to protect McGrady. We, the members of the Rockets RealGM, ha've been fairly patient and reasonable with Tracy. If you McGrady supporters can't even stomach our criticism, then I think you guys are not being too rational. Clutchfans, chron, and even the game announcers have every right to call McGrady out at this point. For a guy who's was as skilled as Kobe and makes 20 million dollars this season, there's absolutely no reason for him to only put up 4 points and 2 assists. Even an injured ex-NBA player can put up those numbers when given a considerable amount of minutes. Whatever he's doing right now it's just unacceptable.

How dare does he ask for more touches when he's shooting at 39%, plays 0 defense, and doesn't even care to hustle up and down the court? That's just as selfish as Mike James asking for a raise. McGrady probably feels disrespected by the team but if he wants respect, he needs to take some initiatives to earn that respect. No other way around it.

What McGrady needs right now is a harsh wake-up call. The media, fans, and even the Rockets organization have been too protective of him. Dude needs to get blasted from all angles until he realizes that he doesn't deserve to be the focal point of this team when he's putting up Jerome James' numbers.

People call him a scrub because he's playing like a scrub. People, get to your senses.

EDIT: I'm not saying we need more negativity on this board, but some these 'supportive' arguments just don't fly right now.

The first valid touche' I've yet seen. I don't think it invalidates anything I've said, but some very good points all the same.

T-Wack wrote:Oh yeah, you mean like right now? Yeah, we play soooo much better when he's on the court. You need to look at the games, not the box scores.

The box scores tell the story man. Perception is very, VERY fallable. Ask any magician. If the box scores don't tell the story, it's because you're reading them wrong (which is to say, you can disagree with +/-, that's fine, but you can't say that all stats are stupid and wrong. Well, you can... but it won't make you look very smart)

A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

As a fan, I have dreamed thousands of times that TMAC get back to what he use to be. Even we wanna trade him, we still need to pray that he will be back sooooooon, no matter how.

If this year rockets doesn't get a ring or at least a west champion, T-MAC is absolutely gone. We knew it, and he knew it. He is probably taking Shaq's theory that saves everything for the playoff. (They are close friends. :-? )

Whatever, I just wish that R.A could rest TMAC for rest of month or even more, and let Ron leads the team.
