Yay. Four canadiens.

Give it up to their fans though. 4 for 6. They're batting .667

Pretty ridiculous. I understand the whole 100 year anniversary thing, and they want their team on the ice. But the yankees had a pretty special all star game last year too, but even they didn't get 6 out of 9 starters.

The west is a little shaky as well, no Sharks? No wings?

Kovalev shouldn't be there... Savard should def be there. I do however think Komisarek, Markov, and Price deserve to be there. And I don't want to hear about Komi only having like 3 points because that's not what he does... He's one of the premiere defensive defensemen in the league. You could argue that Tim Thomas should be the starter, but I believe Carey Price deserves it as well. If you watch the Habs without Price they're a completely different team half the time.

Kane is the only deserving starting Blackhawk. Patrick Sharp has been better than Toews this year and Duncan Keith has played better than Brian Campbell.

The best and most dynamic player in the league isn't even starting. Not that it matters for Ovechkin. All Star game is a joke anyways.

I'll take Streit, Wideman and Green over Komisarek on the AS team. I'll also take Tim Thomas over Price on there as well. I'll agree with the Markov pick, mainly because he's the most deserving out of any of the Montreal players on the squad.

No Ovechkin? Arguably the best player in the league? I don't think I'll be watching it yet again this year.

There are 15 roster spots left for each Conference. Hopefully the remaining spots aren't screwed up by the coaches.

I'll be dissapointed if Backstrom, Semin or Green don't make it. At least two out of them have to, Those three with Ovechkin should be the ones representing the Caps.

I just want some different reps from each team! Right now, you have..

4 Habs
3 Hawks
3 Ducks
2 Pens

Only 4 teams (none of which are in the top 3 in their conference) represented in the starters when you have 12 open spots. Crazy if you ask me.

Ovechkin is the biggest snub. He is the definition of being an all star. People will pay to see him play.

System has become flawed big time. All you heard of was the ballot stuffing from Mont, but when 3 other teams total are being represented. . . there are fundamental problems.

Its just like the NBA where Yi has more votes than KG, Bosh, Sheed. . . ..

The NHL needs to get rid of the voting system. Let the GM's pick the starters. And get rid of the 1 rep from each team. Some years, some teams don't deserve an all-star.

Ehhh...let the players pick. Or, continue to let the fans pick...but restrict the number of starters to 1 per team. If a player is good enough to be there, he'll make his way onto the official roster.

Brutal.

Souray?? He is a one trick pony.

Luongo hasnt played for half the season,
Backstrom has a % of the wins Kipper does. . .

Modano? Ribero maybe. . .

And please tell me how two Colorado players got on this list

This is a bad all star lineup.

Toews and Campbell being wrongly voted in prevented Sharp and Keith their rightful positions.

And Roberto Luongo? You mean the guy who hasn't played half the year? That guy?

How is it ridiculous? It's the voting system that's ridiculous - they give the fans the opportunity to do this kind of stuff. It's no secret that Montreal has the most passionate fans in the NHl; obviously they're going to try and get all their guys in the game.

What? I said exactly what you wrote. Their fans stuffed the boxes. The system is ridiculous. I didn't trash on their fans.

NHL needs to get rid of the fan voting. The most popular players will automatically make the game, even if they aren't that good.

Kane>Toews
Ovechkin>Kovalev and Crosby right now

On another note, Bouwmeester is so overrated. He should not be an all star.

Now he's going to want even more cash at the end of the year.
