Heres my thought. A lot of the teams that haven't done anything haven't because they do not want to be a part of the game, for whatever reason.

I think that next Monday (or sooner, even) dcash4 should put up an activity thread. That way we can identify what users are not a part of the game anymore. Get those positions filled, allow trading for another week or so, and then begin the draft and free agency. It may seem like a long time, but we need active users, and those users need time to get their team a little bit how they want it before beginning the draft and free agency.

Tbh we've done it twice already. Everyone responds and then no one makes trades. I think i'm gonna agree with Mascot here, let's just get it done and start a new one.

I'm hoping we have at least a week before doing so. I posted my deal with Orlando a week ago and it was just accepted tonight. The trade badly depleted my roster and I am hoping to get another deal or two knocked out as soon as dcash approves the Dwight trade.

speaking of which...

Rudy/Batum/Carney are now on the block

Al Harrington 6' 9" 260 20 & 7 SF/PF 2010 expiring can be yours in the right deal

Blount/Cardinal 2010s on the block

Swift/Collins $9mil+ total on the block

I need depth at the 2/3/4 and am willing to take back around 10 - 13 mil that runs past 2010 if I can get a good starting SF

Looks like all my youngsters and Al are off the block ATM since the Dwight deal is in limbo/dead in the water due to Dwight being BYC.

Seems reasonable to me, it's died down quite a bit, and i think getting into the Draft/Free Agency phases will help bring back some interest. Let's get this game over with so we can start a new one. :D :D :D

That works with me- I'd even be willing to end it sooner. I don't think there are many trades in the making..

Yeah, we should start the draft (and then FA) pretty soon. However, I don't think we should end trading during those times. People like to make trades during the draft and during/after FA. Maybe start the draft in a little more than a week, and that should take a week or 2. Then, do FA which should take a couple of weeks, and finish out with a week or 2 of last-minute trading.

...and also, now thinking about the draft, the Blazers have 3 2nd round picks, and we would love to move into the 1st round with those picks. Send in your offers to adamextra@sbcglobal.net

Dallas would like to be greedy and get another 1st rounder, we have 3 second round picks to move (DAL,NYK,DET), and for a significant increase perhaps talent can be added.
