The Rules

Here's the deal - after each win, we'll have a player of the game thread. You post the top 3 performers (1st place, 2nd place and 3rd place). The top-3 vote-getters will receive points...

1st place = 3pts
2nd place = 2pts
3rd place = 1pt

At the end of the season, I'll tally up the point totals and put it into a thread. We should have a good idea of who was the most valuable player, at least according to Wizards fans. :D

The poll winner is for posterity only. It has no affect on the recorded winner. If you want your vote to count, post the top-3 performers.

who ever held their man below their full season scoring field goal average..including ft's and also scored above their field goal season average including field goals should be player of the game. Because the cavs scored well below their average. I suspect part of it was ilgauskas..but west and mo williams were held way below so someone was really playing lock down D because we definitely can't should believe we are going to win by scoring 80pts each game shooting a low field goal percentage. I suspect 8 rebounds by jamison really did turn the tide because that's very unusual for him to grab that many offensive boards. The s/f definitely didn't hold lebron below his field shooting average. Whoever shut down Mo williams and Delonte West was a major factor.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

Gold Star Honorable Mention - The Refs for calling the walk regardless of who did it.

Crab Dribble travel is one of his signature moves. LMAO

Oh my God. How long will it take for him to live this down.

I hope this exposes him for what he gets away with. He should have just kept his mouth shut. Now he just has announcers and sports writers making jokes about him. Specially since he said he watched it 10 times after the game and he said the refs got it wrong even though his coach said they got it right.

Win the battle or loss the war. He should have just kept his mouth shut. Bringing more attention to this move may end in it being removed all together.

Hopefully you'll realize some day that basketball is not simply a game of 5 1 on 1 matchups.

1. Jamison
2. Butler
3. McGuire

Crab Dribbles...wtf is that? I like how LeBron sees 3 steps and says it's only 2. The sad thing is, he did it a couple of times in the game, but they only called it at the end.

I'm going with the SportsCenter guys for taking the pizz out of Le Crustacean. It's finally time that someone, other than us peon posters, spoke truth to power.

Bill Spooner
Bill Kennedy
Zach Zarba

...with whichever one made the correct call on the "crab dribble" at #1, and the others being #2 and #3 simply for being on the same crew with the guy.

it STILL blows my mind that Lebron openly admits his "signature move" is what EVERYONE (who isn't blinded by their own ego) knows is a travel. WOW....
