RealGM Vintage Fantasy League

Post#1 » by Basketball Jesus » Wed Jul 18, 2007 2:25 am

Plus, defensive players are much more fun to draft than entire defenses.

This time I went with Yahoo! defaults for the point system since their IDP points system seem to have been corrected from last year's debacle.

do we really have to play defensive players? i think if you leave out D players and just use D-team then alot more people will join.

I think one of the goals was to set this league apart from others. By changing it, then it will just be the same.

Team defenses are for sissies. Plus the fun thing is Yahoo's defensive player rankings are frequently screwed up so you have to think about what you're doing instead of just picking names off a list.

HAH yeah in of my other live drafts, this dude who didn't attend the draft ended up with Dan Klecko (the #1 rated defensive player on Yahoo).

Damn... I might be heading to New York During the Middle of August, so I don't even know if I'll have access to a computer...

And if I go, I won't be back until the 25th....

Is it possible to push this back just one day? Or is that not feasible for everyone else?

Hope that draft time isnt set in stone, as I am already slotted for a draft that night (unless its easy for me to do 2 Yahoo drafts at once?)
