I don't know if they're better, but they're more interesting. AP alone accomplishes that.

I think on offense we will be better. The talent alone will do that. The experience of Chilly as well as Tjax and the line will help. AD will be awesome if we can use him and taylor together.

Im more curious about the defense.

I think the overall moral of this team is better, Childress has really impressed me this year...We are young, but I think we will win more than 6 games this year...

We've got an inexperienced QB, one of the worst WR cores in the league so that doesn't bode well for us. But i'm optimistic about TJax, and hope that Williamson has a break out season. On the bright side our defense is improved, and we've got one of the nastiest RB tandems in the league.

I dont know if we are better by wins vs losses but we are a much more exciting team to watch. I dont know about you guys, but last years offense was so dull... i hated watching Brad Johnson try and throw the ball more that 15 yards, is was pathetic. Now we've got a strong armed athletic QB that can make plays, i just hope he's able to read defenses and isn't afraid to make mistakes. He cant be gun shy, we need TJax to step up and play with confidence

This basically sums up my feelings. I'm hoping like hell that TJax has an awesome season, but I'm being cautiously optimistic.

Can't wait for the season to start. I am going to have to find a way to actually watch the games over here, rather than following ESPN's sports ticker thing.

Anyone know if the AM radio stations that usually broadcast the Vikes games are available online?

I think your defense will get you guys through some games more than the offense will. I think Minnesota has a really young core to build around in AP, Taylor, Rice, Williams, and Jackson. But when you look at that group you still see too much inexperience to get it done this year. Either way look on the bright side, no one can be as bad as the Raiders will be this year.

It's hardly possible for this team to be worse than last year. This team seems to be built in the spirit of the very old pre Tarkenton Viking's teams. Good to great defense and an offense that is based on 3 yards and a cloud of dust.
