Ollie out at least 3 weeks. I think this is a good chance to see what Telfair can do. Bassy should be getting the bulk of the point guard minutes anyways, team runs smoothest when he's driving and kicking . what do you think?

I think this means Foye will have to play PG as well again... not sure if he can handle it while remaining the score he has become recently.

This is horrible news for Ollie, who's played well for us.

If MIN cuts Ollie before Saturday, Jan 10th, his contract won't be guaranteed. However, even if MIN cuts him, I could see some vet team picking him up, stashing him away for a penant run.

Maybe this creates an open roster spot for MIN to take a look at other players. Today (Jan 5th) is the first day players can be signed to 10-day contracts. If we liked our guys with Wolves ties, where's Ahearn these days? Would we play Chris Richard?

Telfair showed what he could do last season when given minutes, I don't expect much more of a difference now this point of the year than last season.

Telfairs looked nice the last few games and in the bulls game he did a nice job of getting Love involved and Love is the only thing people talk about on this board so that must be good.

I think you must live in the sun lit world that you believe to be realitly. But there is, unseen by most, an underworld. A place that is just as real, but not as brightly lit.. the darkside..

Or maybe the Twilight zone. Either way, Telfair hasn't been getting minutes for a reason. If he would stick the the driving and kicking you mentioned he would be ok. But all those missed shots.. There aren't many pgs in the league that I wouldn't take over Telfair. Even Smush Parker is better than him.

If by alright you mean shooting 2 for 10 and costing the Wolves more games I agree.

Dream world? You have never heard of Tales from the Darkside?

Dang..now we have to let Telfair play. I would wrather have Ollie play than Telfair X1,000,000,000.
Ollie plays really nice defense on guys most of our team can't guard. He also manages a game like a PG should, and plays within his abilities and doesn't hurt the team when he's out there. I can't say the same for Telfair.

This board doesn't have many (any?) people that will stand up for Telfair. So I was just trying figure out what good you see in him.

By the way, welcome to the board.

I think Telfair will be fine but I don't see him starting. We only have 3 PG's on the team. If Telfair starts then who plays backup PG?

Foye and Telfair are gonna have to split the load...ugh...Telfair just sucks. I hope we can get Ty Lawson with Miami's pick. He'd be a much better option than Telfair...

Telfair is the bizarro Ollie.

He would be a good option. Wasn't it Daniel Ewing that had been the best player in the d-league for a couple years? Or am I thinking of someone else? I think he signed with the Nets for a little while.. What ever happened to him?

It should be interesting to see what the "New Management" will come up with for their first personnel decision since the big shakeup.

He would be a good option. Wasn't it Daniel Ewing that had been the best player in the d-league for a couple years? Or am I thinking of someone else? I think he signed with the Nets for a little while.. What ever happened to him?

It seems Daniel Ewing is busy in Siberia.
