Wait a minute, whatever happened to my deal with the Raptors? The raptor GM presented me with an alternative pick and never replied back to me afterwards. I, now, see him doing the deal with someone else, how is that possible? If anything, he needs to talk to me first.

The Phoenix Suns and Charlotte Bobcats would like to annouce a minor deal.

Suns sends Goran Drajic (1.7 million) and 2010 ORL 1st for Javaris Crittenton (1.38 million)

1.38 million x 1.25 + 0.1 million = 1.8 million > 1.7 million.

We like the young prospect in Crittenton. We feel Javaris is more ready to than Goran at this point as one of our back-up point guard. We wish Goran best of luck in Charlotte.

Charlotte accepts

We think that Goran needs time to develop and right now we can give him that time, also we feel that critt's value is about a late 1st rounder and we pick up one of those as well.

The Milwaukee Bucks and Atlanta Hawks have agreed to a deal

Atlanta sends
Zydrunas Ilgauskas - $10,841,615

Milwaukee sends
Samuel Dalembert - $11,238,564
(Math obviously works)

The Bucks accept this deal. While we do get older as a team and even though Ilgauskas is currently injured, we feel that the talent level is similar enough to pull the trigger. We also basically cut a year's payments of Dalembert's contract off the books with the deal.

Due to Carter having a minimum contract no salary has to be returned.

The Wizards do this deal because iverson was not in our rebuilding plans. Adding a playoff vetern, dumping thomas salary will help with our rebuilding efforts.

The Dallas Mavericks and Washington Wizards have agreed to a trade:

Trade 1

Dallas sends:
Tim Thomas- $6,049,400
Stephen Lasme- $300,000
DET 09 2nd
NYK 09 2nd
Total: $6,349,400

Washington sends:
Darius Songaila- $4,234,000
DeShawn Stevenson- $3,616,071
Total: $7,850,071

Math works: $6,349,400 x 1.25 + 100,000= $8,036,750> $7,850,071

Trade 2
Dallas sends
T.E. worth- $1,392,240

Washington sends
JaVale McGee $1,392,240

Dallas accepts this deal. We see JaVale as a nice pieces down the road, and although wwe take some some excess salary with Darius, we feel he and DeShawn can fill out the minutes well here. We can afford to lose some picks as we still have a number available.

The Wizards accpet, while we hate losing McGee, we feel that the salary that this will free up and the picks will be more valuable in our rebuilding process.

Troy Murphy - 10,126,984

The Orlando Magic are sad to lose Hedo Turkoglu and promising young forward Mcroberts but we really like what Murphy brings to our team. His rebounding and shooting should be an ideal fit next to Dwight Howard.

The Pacers cut Stephen Graham and accept.

We are sad to lose Murphy's production, but with Josh Smith in town, we really couldn't afford to pay him to be a bench player. We are excited to have Turkoglu come in and man the SG spot till Rush is ready.

The Raptors accept this deal. We need a better SG and even though Miller is 32-33 we still think he can contribute for a few more years.

The Orlando Magic and Los Angeles Lakers have come to an agreement:
Lakers Outgoing:
Sasha Vujacic - $2,262,444 (BYC, 1/2 of base year salary)
Luis Scola - $3,100,667
Speedy Claxton - $5,757,818
Maceo Baston - $2,272,860

Lakers Incoming:
Lamar Odom - $14,148,596
Jamaal Magloire - $797,581
Stephen Graham - $826,269
the rights to Fran Vasquez

Total Outgoing: $13,393,789
Total Incoming: $15,772,446
13.4x1.25+.1=16.85>15.7

Magic Outgoing:
Lamar Odom - $14,148,596
Jamaal Magloire - $797,581
Stephen Graham - $826,269
the rights to Fran Vasquez

Magic Incoming:
Sasha Vujacic - $4,524,887
Luis Scola - $3,100,667
Speedy Claxton - $5,757,818
Maceo Baston - $2,272,860

Total Outgoing: $15,772,446
Total Incoming: $15,656,232

15.7x1.25+.1=19.7>15.8

Lakers accept, Odom was always a player I wanted back, and he gives me some financial flexibility as to whether or not I'd like to keep him. He's going to play a similar role as to what he does now for the Lakers, as he's going to be filling that 6th man role, but at multiple positions, from the 5 down to the 1 in different scenarios. This allows me to add Radman to the starting lineup to spread the floor from the 4 spot. I'm sad to see Scola go more than anything else, but this deal also sees me get rid of some salary. Ultimately, I'm trying to garner as much talent as possible to secure an NBA Championship.
