Because as lakers fan, we shoot for championships.

With man to man defense like Pau's tonight, we won't get to the Conf. Finals

Team Defense is number one, but there comes a point where every player has to personally man up.

Straight up, Pau did nothing of the sort tonight. That's my complaint, and I put my life on it Phil will call him out for it

That's fine, then accept some more Western Conference Championships. Those are great, really great.

For once, I wish we were like Boston. See their players pissed off when they play poorly? It's cuz they give a flying ****. They know what passion, heart and desire are.

We have one or two players who understand those intangibles, and unfortunately that is not enough.

Before someone have a heart attack, let's look at this loss logically. To me, this loss wasn't as bad. We are looking at a contending team in the western conference desperately having to win this game here. The Hornets have enough talent to beat us in a game and they knew they had to win this one because we embarassed them in both games in NO. That is why they came out playing like crazy.

We, on the other hand, learned to pace ourselves throughout the regular season. It isn't always the best idea to have long win streaks, just look at the Celtics. In some games, when things just don't go our way, maybe we should just pace ourselves and not try too hard to win every game there is. We might lost to NO by 11 tonight, but I would bet money that we will not lose to them at home in the playoffs.

Geez..

First off, OP.. your thread title violates the TOS. And subsequent posts by both the OP and others is also a violation. So cool it.

Secondly, Pau is playing at an All-Star level this year. Tonight was not his night. Lets not knee jerk and more importantly, drawing the same conclusions about " toughness" and Pau as if he needs to be "realgm tough" to be effective is a conversation that goes nowhere.

So add that up with the insults and this is a lock.

P.S.. West had a great night. The majority of his points came off od jump shots. I am not sure how " toughness" comes into play.

I have no idea what you could possibly thinking. You broke two big rules:

1-you started a flame war with this incredibly insulting thread
2-you broke the language filter.

So listen closely when I tell you this: you are officially warned. If I see another post of this nature you are history.

By the way we owned the supposed bullies more than not for two seasons, had a major injury, pissed off Crawford, and it is in fact one game.
