It's a shame that Washington has no future in the postseason for the next 6 years(when Arenas' contract expires)....I liked beating up on them....

I dont understand why all these Wiz fans think they have the ability to talk trash when they still have yet to do something significantly as of yet

Im just a basketball fan, and the fact is Lebron James traveled on at least two game winners to knock the wiizards out of the playoffs in the last 3 seasons. I am not a Lebron hater but it is simply fact that Lebron gets calls his ways because of his superstar status. He does have a tendency to travel towards the basket and is not used to getting it called against him. That "crab" dribble is a travel and he did it in the playoffs and it wasnt even as bad during the cavs wizards game two days ago... but it finally got called on him. The coaching staff or his teammates need to inform him that his crab dribble is indeed a crab travel.

People have no idea what they are talking about as is indicated by the previous comment. The crab dribble is basically a fake crossover done with one hand. It is not inherently traveling. I do think he traveled in the game but that was not because of the crab dribble which is a move. Further, it's just pure ignorance to argue that LeBron traveled on more than one of those game winners. One was likely a travel (although I still think LeBron gets foul calls late in games that should be called and if they're not the subsequent travel is irrelevant). The second was a clean move and was indicative of why the Wiz will not beat the Cavs as constructed. They don't play defense.

I don't believe I've ever seen LeBron travel once in the NBA....

In fact, I don't think LeBron has ever traveled in an NBA game ??? Many would like you to believe he travels on occasion, but i've seen no authentic visual evidence of such talk... Just photoshopped images and tampered youtube video...

So I stand by the fact that LeBron has never legitimately traveled in a game in his career....

hahaha these WIZ guys never learn. Too bad we won't be seeing them in the playoffs since they'll be a 15-67 team.

It was a crabbling violation, no doubt about it.

The thing I don't understand is why Lebron feels the need to use some of these questionable moves. He could have gotten to the basket just as easily with a strong jump stop, which is what I thought he did at first glance and would have been legal.

I understand he's trying to work on his post game, which is probably why he's working on that particular move in the summer, but I often see Lebron and other NBA players doing moves like this and stretching the rules, per se, and I just don't get why they do it instead of using the basics.

Also, I'm not the biggest fan of refs in general, but I completely understand why they have trouble calling travels consistently in the NBA. First of all, the players in general are so fast and quick with that it is hard to tell. Second, the rules can be ambiguous at times as to when a dribble is still alive, a guy has possession and even what constitutes a step - think making a jump stop and landing on the back foot first and then that foot leaving the ground first when you jump. Third is that not only are the players fast, but certain players are just much faster than others, which I think makes it hard to judge the same moves the same way for each player. A Vlad Radmanovic spin move with a travel is going to be much easier to call than a Wade or Lebron spin move. And then fourth is the widely accepted notion of superstar calls, which David Stern does little to discourage.

I'm not a huge Cavs fan, but I like them. I hate the Wizards though. I can't believe you Cavaliers fans can even argue about it, that one was CLEARLY a travel, it was three steps and lieing to yourself on these boards doesn't make any difference in the Cavs success and their chance to go deep into the playoffs or even win it all - so take it as a fact, it was a travel, you just cannot argue about it, shewt like this happens, losing to the worse teams as one of the top teams. The Cavs still have an excellent record, so about one loss, there's no need to complain, it will most likely not change their seed in the playoffs, and even if it doesn, they're still strong enough to handle most of the eastern teams, including the Celtics. Btw, I'm a big Celtics fan.

LeBron does travel sometimes. The Wizards' fans are just blowing it out of proportion. On some of his breakaway dunks, he sometimes takes 3 steps. Just watch closely in our game tonight.

from what i notice, sometimes when lebron travels it doesn't at all impact the play and goes uncalled. For example, when he gets a steal and a wide open fast-break dunk, he make take 3 steps in order to set up a nice dunk or something. But when nobody is around on the play and he is going to score regardless, i think the refs just let it go.
Another thing that happens a lot that other teams' fans don't seem to get is that lebron travels because he anticipates getting fouled, and then does get fouled. Sometimes the travel sets him up for the 3 point play, but when you're getting hit as hard as lebron is, it isn't always easy to keep steps under control. he takes a lot of punishment for the uncalled travels.

lebron travels the most out of every player in the league. its him dwade, ginobili, then kobe. and if lebron was on the wizards and he did that play against your team then you would say that he traveled. lol.

Maybe you never played BB. There are rules that apply to all. Why should some players get 3-4 steps and some not. Your eather putting the ball on the floor or not, it just that simple.
