Celtics vs. Houston 1/7/09 Time to Get it Right Again

Post#1 » by exculpatory » Thu Jan 8, 2009 12:34 am

Go Green.

Paul is averaging 25 to 30 shooting well over 50% for last 7 games. Come on, KG, RA and Rondo - join him in bringing it. Let's show the world the real Boston Celtics again.
SamIam 2010: Truth's ability to play so incredibly efficiently is so UNDERAPPRECIATED. Bballcool 2012: Amazing how great Pierce has been for so long. Continues to defy age! KG 2013: P is original Celtic. Wherever he goes, we go. This is The Truth's house.

Paul still shooting lights out. At this rate, he will soon be shooting 45-46% again.

COME ON - 48 MINUTES OF INTENSITY!

getting out-muscled and out-hustled once again by a far inferior team....the pussification of the Celtics is almost complete.

You have to love the fact that while our offense goes stale, our best offensive player has put 1 shot up this quarter, which was 11 mins ago. I love it! We do a great job of utilising our best offensive player [who's 4/5] by getting him 1 shot up this quarter. 1!

Once again .... we continue to under-utilise. Nice.

This is going to same way all their losses went. The Rockets got back into the game with Yao on the bench and without t-mac. Once again a team is shooting lights outs from 3 point land against the Celtics.

I don't know what else to think. This team has officially hit the wall. The just look done at this point. I suspect a loss tonight and another on Friday.

That is what happens when the guys doing the grunt work (role players) aren't rewarded by their more offensively-talented teammates. If you don't share the ball, don't expect your teammates to pick up for you when you get burnt defensively, again. I am looking at you Ray Allen.

This team is a 4th seed, at best, and is nicely poised for a first round knockout... where is the defense??? The Rockets shot 71% in the second quarter... Nice going, guys... Is BFB gonna tell me now that this team is still fine??

We can`t stop anybody! They shot 70% in the second quarter! Are you kidding me?!?!

Rondo is HORRIBLE! Sit him down, he is completely useless on the floor! Doesn`t even play good defense. But what bothers me the most is that he doesn`t show any emotions, fire, desire. If he doesn`t want to play sit him down!

I don`t even no what to say anymore. Our defense has hit rock bottom...never thought this would happen to us but we look below average defensively...

I want to add the Rondo is playing horrible. He has to be the worst shooter in the NBA. 4th seed is correct. After the Celtics get back from thier west coast trip the cavs, magic and the pistons will be ahead of them.

I should not be too upset I guess. We did win a championship last year. We are just officially the Miami heat now.

Have to give the Rockets credit for making some tough shots and long balls.

We're def. going cold at all the wrong times and bad turnovers don't exactly help that.

Give the opposing team any credit? That is not allowed here in Celticville. Sorry.

Not a bad idea.. .let's keep giving all the teams their credit and completely ignore that this team is headed nowhere pretty fast.

Once again Pierce is scoring all our points and is clearly feeling it, but if any of the past 5 games is an indicator, we'll - for some odd reason - go away from Pierce.

If we do, and we lose ....... I will burn a human effigy of who ever is responsible for getting the ball out of his hands. Doc Rivers?

Unbelievable without McGrady and Battier adn we can't get any seperation...this team is flawed and emotionaly dead.
